I am unable to fully review this product as I am unable to use it after weeks of delivery time to receive. I did in fact purchase the Heat Gun Tool. However, there are no Heat Gun Nozzles or Attachments that came with the tool to use, without risk of blasting the entire area including my hands, with heat. As I am trying to attach a heat shrink to a Li mini battery, it is not advisable that I hit it with over 60C of heat directly, and I would assume indirectly. Read more
Works great for tight places I use it on road calls off an inverter works like a champ and hand warmer in a pinch Read more

I got a regular heat gun and not the precision one listed here. I already have a standard although this one has some attachments that will allow it to be more pointed. My gun is older and I have gotten a lot of use out of it, I'm sure I will do the same with this. Read more
Ah, the heat gun with many uses! I never knew what I was missing before I had this. First off, I'm amazed that this is a cheap as it is. It works really well and seems well made and is under $30. This MotoCare heat gun pulls a lot of wattage, but it's pretty incredible how hot it gets for such a small heat gun. The nozel at the end allows it to be extremely precise with what you're heating so that you don't have any overflow and ruin something next to whatever you're heating. This thing heats up pretty fast and you definitely don't wan to leave it laying around as it gets incredibly hot. The description says this is great for shrink tubing wires, which it is, but I've also used it to defrost a freezer (very carefully so as not to damage the freezer), splice wires, remove paint and adhesives, and keep myself warm on a cold winter night (kidding, don't try this at home). Other mentioned that the heat should help to loosen rusted bolts, screws, etc, which it definitely should do. This is just a really handy tool to have in your arsenal. It's also pretty great for packaging items in plastic shrink wrap. There are multiple settings on it which gives it a nice adjustability. Overall, awesome heat gun for a great price. Definitely worth the investment. Read more
This is a review of the MotoCare Dual Temperature Heat Gun . Got this heat gun to help remove some paint on window trim that bumps up against my sink, which b/c of the constant exposure to water, has been peeling bit by bit ever since we remodeled the kitchen. Without wanting to shut down the kitchen to chemically strip the paint before sanding and repainting, I was looking for easy ways to remove the old paint, which this heat gun helped with speeding that up (in tandem with scraping). The MotoCare Precision Heat Gun heats up between 250-1350 degrees. Whereas the precision heat gun is lighter, for small-scale applications, and heats only to 650 degrees max. Happy to discover other uses for this heat gun as well--removing labels and stickers off pyrex or glass jars, defrosting built up ice in your freezer, and to shrink down shrinkwrap (which will come in handy for this upcoming holiday season as I've got a lot of cakes to deliver for gifts to my kids' teachers).
