Really great radio for the money. I have a Christmas Tree farm and I bought these for my employees and I to be able to coordinate parking and sales. They were always in range inside or out. Great calling features and security code blocks. The battery life is REALLY good. I used them without charging for 3 eight hour days and one was even left on over night. No problem. Very clear transmissions. I worked in law enforcement for 20 years and carried a portable daily. These had equally clear speakers. The instructions state they should be stored with the batteries discharged. I have closed for the season and after just charging all of the radios I had to leave them on to discharge before packing them up for the year.
