Mount Plus 201D VESA Monitor and TV Mount Extender Conversion Kit 100x100 200x200 Convert to 400 x 200

Upgrading both of our Vizio 42” M422I-B1 to Hisense 55” U75K. The new TV is 10 lbs. lighter than the old one. The wall mount is a GE Full-Motion Flat Screen TV wall mount that is 50x50, 75x75, 100x100 and 200x200 VESA compatible mount. To my surprise the new TV is a 400x200 VESA pattern. Looked for a good price and decent build w/o braking the bank. The wall mount can handle the weight, just not the VESA pattern. This bracket has the 50x50 and 75x75 holes are beveled to flush mount it with the supplied bolts. Plate is very robust, mounting hardware is very stable. I only need to take out the old 100x100/200x200 bracket from the wall mount, use the supplied hardware (and the 4 old washers since I want a piece of mind the bolts going to the new TV will be snug). Had the black plastic washer in between the mount and the TV then the old metal washer between the bolt and bracket as diagrammed (also the back part of the TV has patterns and not flush). I had bought a Toshiba TV that had an odd configuration and could not find anything locally that would work. It went right on and with plenty of option sizing if I want to reuse it on a different television later down the road. It’s a nice sturdy plate of metal with a black coating. I received this mount today. I need to convert a 200x200 mount to a 300x200 TV hole pattern. However, while the plate seems strong and sturdy it cannot be used with the hardware they provide and will need a trip to the hardware store for most people. Be prepared for that if you buy this mount. The good: Mount is reasonably thick and sturdy and has a lot of holes that seem to line up and be accurate. It is definitely usable for my purpose. The bad: See the pictures I provided. In Pic1, the hole pointed to is my original hole overlaid with the plate. They provide an M5x16mm screw to attach the plates to each other. As you can see, that hole is too big and the screw they provide goes right though. So I found I could use other holes that my mount had. See picture 2. That screw goes through both plates just fine but is waaaay to long. 16mm is overlength for the purpose unless you have a 10mm thick plate!!. The nut they provide is a cap nut so it can't be screwed all the way down anyway. So a trip to the hardware store is required to get suitable nuts and bolts. They also provide M6x30 and M8x30 screws to mount it to TV with 10mm spacers. So unless your TV takes 20mm screws, these will be useless to you as well. I can't fault them for this as they tried but TV's do not come with the mount screws anyway and you would have had to buy them anyway. In the case of my LG the holes are 40mm deep and so I need a M6x50mm screw to attach it the plate. Hope this helps you. Update: I installed this plate on my new LG Oled. I went to the hardware store and bought M8x10mm bolts and nuts and used this to attach the 2 plates together at the 200mm hole point. It made it very strong and sturdy. I could have used the 100mm holes with the smaller screws if needed but I preferred this as it was at the edges. I have added a star because aside from this hassle it really did the job. Read more

I was so frustrated that my new TV had a different bolt pattern than the previous TV so my existing mount would not work. Trying to find a new mount that had the same features as my existing mount was not available so I had to use the stand until I found this item. Super easy to bolt on with a screwdriver & wrench then mount as usual. Now my excellent mount is compatible with any TV...the way it should have come from the factory. The kit came with all the hardware I needed and in the common sizes. It shipped same day and arrived next day. It is very sturdy and stable and easily handled my 50 inch TV. Highly recommend. Really saved me a lot of headache. I got a bigger tv and found it did not fit on my wall mount this made me sad. The tv wall mount is anchored into a concrete wall in my basement and would be very difficult to repair and fix. As well to do a new tv mount. This plate mad all those issues go away and made me very happy knowing I dodge a huge bullet with this. Read more
