when I younger I used to never use anything on my body as Id go to the beach just cocoa butter and after tanning I always would get burned before Id have this beautiful tan but I found this lotion in the 80s and I used it and loved it. after that I used ut everyday then one day the store I bought it from closed and we didnt have computers then so I didnt know ow to find it again but recently this young lady from church would bring me lotions from bed, bath and beyond. Im not into flowery or strong smelling lotions but she got me pumpkin/ vanilla it was nice. not strong and the other was a mix of patchouli/raw she butter and I love them both so I thought Id try to see if I could find the trip coconut lotion for her and for myself and low and behold there it was on amazon and it wasn't to expensive so I bought her one and will give it to her tomorrow and have the luxery of using my favorite lotion once ah]gain but if i remember its not as thick as most lotions. I can recall but hopefully it's penetrating and still leaves this wonderful smell on you. It's really nice lotion and Id recommend this to anybody. and I dont ever recommend items that are lotions, face products etc because we all have different body types yet I am going to put myself out there and say Id buy it from you if you didnt like it or replace it with something else if i gave you bad intel. Best lotion ever!!!! Been using it since 1978. Totally organic - smells and feels amazing. It was organic, before it was cool to be organic! The consistency is thinner than lotions loaded with chemicals, but it absorbs right into your skin. So glad to now buy it on Amazon/Whole Foods. For yers I to had to buy/order it from small independent “health food stores” only. Heat will break it down, so you can’t keep it in your car in the hot sun. I have been using Skin Trip since the late 1970's when I tried it at my local health food store. It is just the right viscosity, spreads and absorbs well and has a light pleasant coconut scent, It is neither sticky or too thick, So happy to find it again at Amazon. I originally found this moisturizer in a small cafe and marketplace while working in Montauk, NY for the summer season and have been addicted ever since. After living in the desert for 6 years my skin gets super dry whether it’s the summer or winter and whatever “seasons” we get in between! This has a softly delicate scent of coconut. Which isn’t overpowering because coconut scent usually makes me nauseous! It’s more of a milky consistency so I tend to shake it before I use it. I absolute am addicted to using this after every shower. If I don’t use it for a day or two my skin is still soft and hydrated.
