I have been using Mountain Ocean for years as a facial moisturizer. As a man we are not really taught to take care of our skin - at least I was not. This is a thin lotion as opposed to a thick cream that my wife would use. I like the fact that it soaks in quickly and does not leave a shine on my skin. It soaks in and my skin looks normal. It is very soothing when I put it on my face. I like the coconut scent, but that dissipates quickly so you are not going around smelling like a pina colada. This does not have any sun skin protection and that is a plus to me. I do not need sun screen every day and if I do I will put it on. I worry that sun screens are hard on my skin. I use to buy this at the grocery store but the price kept going up and I save a few dollars by buying a 3 pack on Amazon. This is a high quality lotion that I highly recommend. Read more

I love this lotion. The first time I tried it was about 5 years ago and I've been in love with it ever since. I mean, to each his own, but I'll tell you why I love it so much. When I first bought it, I was at a natural food store nearby. It caught my attention because of the simple packaging and black and white label. I trust products more when they're less disguised by fancy packaging. I smelled it and decided to try it. I thought it was kind of pricey, but when I thought about it, an 8oz lotion at bath and body works costs the same so this really wasn't more expensive than most popular lotions. The first time I tried it, I vowed never to switch back to anything else. First of all, it's pretty thin so it spreads very easily which covers more area and actually yields more than most popular lotions. That was my first reaction. Then the scent is just delicious. Tropical and coconutty. Then the way it moisturizes the skin is so unique. It doesn't feel like it's just sitting on the surface of your skin just making it dewey, it dries quickly and not sticky and leaves your skin feeling so silky and quenched. I've also noticed that it's somewhat healing. If I have mosquito bites or razor burn, it seems to calm the irritation. At least for me it does. There's something very special about this lotion. Mountain Ocean nailed it with this formula and I hope they never change it. It gets a 10 in all categories if you ask me. Read more

My only complaint is that I did not get the three pack. This has been my go to lotion that I use every single day right out of the shower. If I could describe the scent to you, it is not a generic coconut scent as you will find with some lotions. This is more clean smelling almost like you took the scent right off the coconut. I have extremely dry skin and since I started using this lotion, I have not had to use a back up lotion. With some lotions that I have purchased, I will have to use a more heavy moisturizer on top of the original one due to severe dryness. That is not the case with this amazing lotion. I will be getting more soon as I am halfway through the bottle, but it has lasted me a little more than a month so far. A little goes a long way as this is a bit more watery than your typical lotion. Be careful when you tip the bottle because it will pour right out. I love it! I have zero bad things to say about the lotion except that I wish I would have got the three pack! Worth every penny and you smell so fresh and so clean and the scent lasts a few hours. Read more

I love Skin Trip lotion, and use most of the Mountain Ocean products. The lotion is creamy, absorbs easily, feels smooth without greasy, and has a natural coconut smell, not an artificial sticky sweet perfume candy smell. I actually use it all over. If I -have- to because I can't find my regular moisturizer, in a pinch I use Skin Trip lotion on my face, just a dab. Before I found a conditioner I wasn't allergic to, I would put a small amount in my hands and work it in my palms then work through the lower half of my hair, focusing on my roots. It dries greaselessly and gives hair a healthy sheen and soffffft touch. I have barely wavy hair. It didn't enhance my curls, but it's lightweight enough that it doesn't weigh down my hair either. The annoying thing about Mountain Ocean Skin Trip lotion AND soap is that they seem to be made with a lot of excess water. The soap shrinks slowly over the first few weeks of being unwrapped and is about 3/4 its original size, BUT no less potent, so I don't complain. The lotion is the same. It seems about an inch of water evaporates over the first few weeks you own it, but seriously, no less potent. It really annoys me about the Mountain Ocean products, but not enough to take off a star!! Eternally devoted to this stuff. Will be grateful to the woman who introduced me to it forever!! Read more

I use to sell this line the fragrance of coconut on my skin was wonderful. It was a very thick lotion and I loved it. This was in the 90’ I brought again I was a little disappointed the lotion was not the same. Watery and not as thick as before. Everyone in Village(NYC) use this lotion. Read more
