I'm a big man and these glasses are larger framed that fit and look good on me. The hinges seem durable. I had been buying glasses from the big box store that were two and a half times more expensive, but would never last more than a few weeks. The thin flimsy hinges would constantly break. Replacing them so often was getting quite expensive. Plus the smaller size looked awkward on my face. I'm very pleased with the size and quality of these readers. And the pack of five for the same price I was paying for two is awsome. I carry these in my shirt pocket, constantly pulling them out for everything I read. Bought these for my uncle. He is forever losing his readers so he’ll be getting these one at a time 😂 Surprised by how good of quality these turned out to be. The plastic is pretty hearty. The design is subtle but masculine without just being boring black frames. I can’t speak to the visual quality but they seem good and arrived with no scratches despite the box being a little beat up. I was looking to replace my iron man..foster grant readers with similar. Amazon had the iron man’s for $18 plus, for one pair..these were $18 for 5? I was skeptical, can’t get them at Walmart for that, so I ordered them. Wearing them now, and they’re nicer then my iron man’s that I’ve had for over a year. I had cataract surgery and could no longer use my prescription glasses which had my readers built into the prescription. I went to a chain drugstore to buy a pair and paid $15 for one pair!
