Mr Bar-B-Q Triple Action Grill Brush Powered by Scrub Daddy

This is a very sturdy, scrubby brush. I have moved away from the metal brushes with the metal bristles as they can pose a danger. I am constantly buying this style, but they never last long. This one is solid! It's heavy in the hand and it really scrubs and cleans your grill. I can see this lasting a long time. Just for fun to see what happens after the first use I put it in my dishwasher on the top shelf. Worked like a charm. It may seem expensive as compared to those others you see in WalMart or such, but way worth it. Read more

I have mixed feelings on the triple action grill brush, on one hand the bristle side is very tough and has held up really well, but the scouring pad side has starting coming apart. I've been using this brush for 4 months now, on average I'd say about two to three times a week. I like the size and design, I'm able to use a lot of force on the bristle side and it does a good job of clearing off any charred on chunks out of my pellet grill. The scouring pad side also does an awesome job of finishing up the cleaning process, but I feel it should be more durable. I will admit I am somewhat biased toward the wire scrubbers for grills, but this one does ok. I think it is much easier to get the grease off while the grill is hot. This scrubber, however, is well-made, sturdy, and has held up pretty well for cold grill scrubbing. It is fairly effective and easy to use. I, however, do not apply cleaning chemicals to my grill grates. My grates are for food only. That is another reason this brush may not have been as effective for me. This brush would probably be a lot better for a smaller surface or a portable grill. The bristles are relatively hard and do a fair job. This brush is just not for me, and largely so due to personal preference more than effectiveness. Read more

Great cold grill cleaner - since this is made of plastic, it should only be used before or well after the grill has been heated. Each difference surface is unique and effective. Bristles are stiff and provide plenty of scrubbing power. Seems to hold up well after use. Easy to grip with a long handle, but the handle material is not as stiff as I'd prefer and does flex a bit more that I would like while giving it a hard scrub. Read more

I'll be honest - my first impression of this Mr. Bar-B-Q Triple Action brush was pretty disappointing. I tried using it right away with just the nylon bristles on my dirty grill and couldn't get much cleaning power out of it at all. I was ready to write it off as another overhyped grill cleaning tool. However, after picking up some CitruSafe degreaser and letting my grill cool down completely, I gave it another shot. The combination of the cleaning solution and using the brush on a cold surface made all the difference - suddenly it was actually effective at removing built-up grease and food residue. The Scrub Daddy technology seems to work much better when paired with the right cleaning products and technique. It's frustrating that the product doesn't come with clearer instructions about needing additional cleaning agents, but once I figured out the proper method, it became a useful addition to my grill maintenance routine. This works like any other grill brush. I honestly haven't noticed any big difference between this one and the cheap ones I got from a big box store. The plastic/nylon bristles break off easily, and the scrub pad flattened fairly quickly. It's an ok grill brush, but nothing special. Read more

Nice grill brush, but only for COLD grills! My mistake for not catching that when I grabbed it, but I do wish it was clearer that this was for cold grills and can not be used on a hot grill, or it will melt (which is what happened to mine). The grill brush has a nice long handle, and it conveniently has three different cleaning brushes on it. Easy to clean, and comfortable to hold too. Read more

The media could not be loaded. The scrubber area is heat resistant. The brushes are not heat resistant. The handle is nice and long and has a ‘rubberized’ feel. The works pretty good, but I do wish the brushes were more firm for hard scrubbing. Trust you found this review helpful:-) Read more
