It is obvious the one who designed this, is not the one that is going to use it. Could have used some collaboration here. 1.) When you turn it on, it auto-sets each of the 5 lamps to heating setting 4 (high) and 2 (med-low). So far there has not been one hair client that could stand it any hotter than setting #1!!!. 2.) Setting #1 is pretty darn warm, 2 is hot, 3 and 4 you could cook a steak. So level 4 should be about what level 2 is. When you turn the unit on, it should be at 0 or 1, not level 2 and 4. You have to go through a set of annoying loud beeps to re-set each lamp to the actual heat setting you really want. The levels are just too hot! Level 1 should be 1/4 of the heat it is. Level 2 should be slightly hotter. This units level 3 and 4 are ridiculous. The adjustment knob to allow the lamps to raise up and down is really difficult to use. A strong man could stand on the roll around "feet" while using strength to pull up on the pole. Kind of awkward if you are not a prize fighter. Read more
