I may have just found the best skincare in one tube. The Murad Superactive Mattifying Oil and Pore Control Moisturizer SPF 50 does it all it keeps my skin shine free without feeling dry or heavy. Unlike many sunscreens, it doesn’t grease up my face or irritate my eyes (a huge win!). The mattifying finish stays smooth all day, and the added salicylic acid is a big plus for my acne prone skin. This sunscreen is pretty wonderful!! My usually dry skin has been going through some changes and I’m finding myself needing some oil control. This is mattifying but not drying. It goes on fairly smooth and doesn’t leave a white cast on me. The scent is pleasant to me, as I can’t stand the “sunscreen” smell. I love the high SPF and this also does well under my usual foundation; no pilling at all. While it is a bit pricey, I feel it’s definitely worth it. 👍 Read more

This is an honest to god, actual truly mattifying and oil control sunscreen. I'm blown away!!! Any other oil control sunscreens I've tried have left my skin greasy and oily (ahem LRP anthelios oil control), which is NOT the type of glow look I'm going for! I don't want any glow at all and this achieves that goal for me. I like to apply this first using the two fingers method, then I put a tinted mineral over it to help cover redness. I would 100% wear this on its own, though. I haven't been in the sun very much lately so I can't speak to its ability to prevent sunburn, but Murad makes good products and I trust this one. The scent is strong, but it reminds me of a perfume I used to wear in high school, so it doesn't bother me too much. If you're scent sensitive, you might steer clear of this one. Read more

My favorite SPF to wear on a daily usage for my skin type.. I am severely allergic to a lot of products and Murad acne brands has not failed me. I love how I can use this under my make up and protect my skin at the same time. Please keep making this product. It is a lifesaver for people like me who have skin sensitivities. The prices are a little steep with inflation, but overall worth every penny. It does help with moisturization too to have better quality with your makeup on.. Read more

I have very oily skin and large pores, and this moisturizer has made a noticeable difference. It keeps the shine under control throughout the day without feeling heavy or greasy. I also love that it comes in a pump bottle, which makes it easy to use and keeps things clean. Unlike a lot of moisturizers with SPF, this one doesn’t have that strong sunscreen smell and it doesn’t leave my face streaky white. It blends in smoothly and works great under makeup too. Not matte. Make it Matte Black Girl sunscreen is more matte (but a little difficult to spread). More like Loreal UV Defender Fresh Matte spf 50 (which is also not matte). Less oily and less shiney but definitely not matte (for matte, think Beauty of Joseon matte sun stick). Very expensive. Read more
