The gloving mushroom lamp has a beautiful glass shade and silver colored metal base with a simple assembly. It has changed the vibe in the room in occupies giving a beautiful glow and has a dimmer switch. The lamp it requires is E12/E14 which I could not find in my local Walmart but I can order online. Overall this is a high quality MCM lamp for your space. It is not too large or small. The light is dimmable to a very low level and bright enough at maximum brightness. However, don't expect it to light up an entire room if it is the sole light you have on. I appreciate the thin foam layer on the bottom of the lamp that prevents it from scratching the surface it is placed upon. I have the lamp on my piano black topped subwoofer and the base material prevents scratches and movement. The lamp is great value for money compared to other retailers and is simple to put together. My only minor critique is that the cord could be a few feet longer. If you plan to place this more than 4-5 feet away from an outlet expect to need an extension cord. Read more
