These are to be for chewers. I have a black jack mix and she is a chewer. She had the outside torn in about 4 days. I would look for something harder. She loves playing throw so with it being chewed ...doesnt work so well. I am sure that if you dont have a real chewer and they like to just play fetch they would be just fine. I think a baseball would work Read more
The size of these dog specific tennis balls are very similar to a standard tennis ball. My pup is a real chewer and destroyed a regular tennis ball. I like that these are dog specific, intended to be durable and gentle on her teeth. The bounce very well and great for playing fetch. She has been playing with these since they arrived. Read more

I ordered these tennis balls for my Jack-a-bee puppy who is extremely active. Tennis balls are one of his favorite toys - he actually bounces his ball - like dribbles it - and catches it midair. These tennis balls are not as bouncy as the traditional yellow ones. My pup was not able to play his version of soccer. I think he got frustrated because he chewed the ball I gave him on the 1st day in a matter of minutes. It seemed more destroyable than regular tennis balls too. I am trusting that the manufacturer is correct in saying that they are pup-safe rubber. I think the price is a bit high, considering I get cheap generic tennis balls for much less. $3 per ball compared to less than a dollar each. The nontoxic rubber might account for the price difference. These probably work great with one of those ball throwers. We don’t use one of those because our pup is so tiny. We just gently toss the ball, but unfortunately getting it back is not part of the game. That’s neither here nor there, but just to say these would work well for a game of fetch if you have a fetching dog. Read more

I have a 20 pound mini husky and she destroyed one of these balls in 24 hours. Fun while they last but don’t believe the durability hype. Read more
Good dog tennis balls. They are colorful and just the right size to play ball with medium to large dogs. They are made well of good quality materials. Read more
