I didn't buy these to make mini versions of lip gloss or anything like that. I bought these so I could make mini travel sizes of my foundation powder, nail oil, glitter drops, concealer, etc. to keep in my handbag instead of having to carry the full sizes. The only thing I really use when I'm out-n-about is my compact and lipstick or lip gloss but I like knowing I have travel sizes of my stuff should an emergency come up and that's what these are for. Sometimes the manufacturer's travel sizes that already exist are too big or bulky or don't exist so I wanted a way to create my own and have them be a small as possible. I first tried using the little dropper bottles but I found out the hard way that they aren't air tight and my glitter drops dried out. So I thought these mini lip gloss vials would work better. They would keep out the air and I could use the tiny doe foot to apply the powder, oil, etc. in the process. A win win. I thought they were very easy to fill and once you put the stopper in, it keeps your contents in the vials safe and sound. Just to be sure, I laid a few filled up vials on their side overnight and none of them leaked. I think they are great, they are well made, easy to use and kind of cute! I am a bridal makeup artist, and even though I use application techniques and products to keep lip makeup in place for hours, it's always nice to have a touch up. These mini lip gloss tubes are perfect - I can swipe the unused end of the new lip balm application over the lipstick I used on my client, slide it into the lip gloss tube and voila, the perfect amount for a touch up. I love these sizes! If makeup companies would sell these sizes all the time; I’d use up my supply a lot quicker. I got these so that I could downsize on a few liquid lipsticks I have & felt I could use them more efficiently in this size. Perfect for travel and to toss into your micro purses when you’re going out. One thing to note, when pipping your liquid lipstick, make sure not fill it all the way, you need enough room for the plug, if not, all your lipsticks will overflow. Happy makeup crafting Read more
