This is an excellent bag! It's very deep, and has several (4) other pockets to slide things in. I wear it as a crossbody. I did make one change though. I replaced the strap with a 2'' guitar strap, that I bought on Amazon. It adds a pop of color and distributes the weight better on my shoulder. I do NOT travel light. My daughter loves vera bradley. I myself am not a big fan. Since finding myra, I've bought so many of their products. I just bought 2 more of the new releases. Love this bag, I looked at many, many bags here on Amazon and wanted a casual distressed look. I’m not a fan of the cowhide or floral patterns common on alot of this style of bag so I was excited to see this one. I wear it cross body and added a organizing bag insert (also purchased on Amazon) to help keep the inside in order and like that the top flap keeps things from spilling out (an issue with my previous bucket bag) it’s light weight and well made. I added a patterned purse strap I purchased here on Amazon and since I wanted to jazz the bag up a little, I ordered a second purse strap, cut it and used it to add the matching trim to the top flap as you can see in my photo. This would be a great bag to also add patches or pins too as well. Read more
This bag is soo me!! Finally a fashionable bag without all the glitz and glamor. Love the fact it is made from recycled military tents. It is sturdy and made well and fits everything I need in my busy , crazy life! Will be buying more Myra bags from now on. Read more
This is a great bag! It is about 12 inches wide, not quite 14 inches tall, and 3 1/2 to 4 inches in depth. It has 2 deep pockets in the front underneath the flap. I use it as a book bag, but it would totally work as a purse. So happy with the purchase. Read more
