This is my very first mechanical keyboard and I love it! I've had no issues whatsoever using this gaming both wired and in 2.4ghz mode. The battery life is really good! I was worried about the transition over to a mechanical keyboard due to noise and the pressure being a little different on the keys, but I'm really enjoying this one. It is quiet enough my friends can't hear me clicking when we're playing games, it's kind of a deeper sound. I haven't noticed any rattling on the longer keys like the space bar. I love having a knob for volume control instead of buttons. Also being able to customize the little screen with a GIF is really nice too. Took a little work to get it right, as well as watching a tutorial video, but it works well! The LED's look really good also and I love all the different options you can choose from for them! I would definitely buy this again! Read more

My son loves this keyboard. It is the perfect size very quiet and the lights are not overly bright or distracting while playing games. The keyboard quality is really good and it was easy to install the keyboard angles at the perfect height and has a great feel. I love how heavy and durable it feels. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I love my AJAZZ keyboard. I changed the keycaps to add the all white look and it looks great and sounds amazing. One thing I was very happy about is the white backlight. I never cared for the rainbow lighting on most keyboards so this was just perfect for me. Read more

I wanted a new gaming keyboard because I was just kind of tired of my other one, and this one came up a lot. The design is cute, and the little gif screen is a super cute touch. :) The sound of the keys is creamy and not too thwacky, they're not too loud, but my mic does pick them up a bit. They are very responsive in game, including FPS. The volume knob is very convenient. Overall super impressed and recommend! Read more

Update Review: August 13, 2024 I replaced all the keycaps and the keyboard sounds so much better. Everything else is still the same, only change are the keycaps. So the hollow/clacky sounds was all because of the stock keycaps. I got new switches too but it doesn't look like I need to change it now. I will keep those for another project. Original Review: July 16, 2024 This is keyboard number 8 for me. I have keyboards of various sizes and different switches. I would have to put the AK820 in the middle of the road. It is not the best keyboard I have but nowhere near the worst. Layout – Let’s start with the size of the keyboard. 75% is perfect for gaming when you want something small but you still want the F1-F10 keys. I tend to use those keys as hotkeys, otherwise I would probably use a 60% for gaming. I also like the knob for quick and easy volume controls. RGB – South face RGB. Good lights and you can change the RGB modes without needing any software, so that’s nice as I am not a huge fan of RGB software. If RGB is not your thing, you can turn them off as well. Keycaps – Cherry/OEM profile. I have the white and purple keyboard. It is easy to read but I don’t typically look at my keyboard when typing. Switches – I have the gift switches. They are not my favorite. They are not bad by any means, but I am just comparing them to switches I have in my other keyboards. I will most likely swap these out with something like the Gateron Milky Yellow Pro. Good at a reasonable price. Sound – Not thocc. I don’t know if it is the keycaps or the switches, but typing on the AK820 sounds hollow and clacky. I have 2 other keyboards sitting right next to the AK820 and I am bouncing back and forth between the 3 and the AK820 sounds the worst. So you are looking for more of that deeper tone, you might not be too happy with the AK820. One of the keyboards I am comparing with is the cheapest hot swappable keyboard I was able to find on Amazon. I got it for a single purpose, to mod it and see if I could have it compete with higher end keyboards. That keyboard, modded, sounds better (to me) than the AK820 as is. Price – This is the saving grace for the AK820. I was able to pick up this keyboard for under $40 during Prime Day. At this price, it is hard to beat and with a few changes/modifications this could be a great keyboard. Conclusion – Overall, I believe this is a decent keyboard. Has a good look and feel. The typing experience is also decent. For those wanting to get into the mechanical keyboard hobby, this would be a good place to start. When I have more time, I plan on taking this keyboard apart and start with some simple (free) mods and go from there. I plan on only using this keyboard for gaming and one of my other keyboards as my daily driver. With that said, the AK820 is solid keyboard for a really good price. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Sounds decent! Great value for what I paid which was 20-25 bucks. Decent build quality although it is a bit lightweight. My wife loves it especially after customizing it and modding. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This keyboard sounds amazing! It also has the perfect layout that I was looking for in a new keyboard. I love the dial feature for the volume or to macro with other things like the lights. The original keycaps on this one are very nice with the beautiful lilac color. There is a software for this to customize everything through there. Including the little screen that you can put a picture or a gif of your liking. But if you are not wanting the software the lights and everything can be done through the function key! Read more

I purchased 2 of these keyboards for my daughters, As much as I am not in the gaming world as I once was my daughter have turned their world into online gaming and they love working for their set ups and having unique accessories and this keyboard is something else. Not only is it extremely durable with cool color patterns, change out keys and the digital display where you can pretty much upload anything onto it turned out to be a perfect gift for that gamer you might have. I cant say I'm a huge supporter of the gaming thing but hey whatever and they loved it!! Read more
