Super sharp. Perfectly alligned upper/lower parts. Nice, secure handle grip. I saw some negative reviews about how people injured themselves using these clippers. I can see how that could happen if you're not careful. Just take your time, line up exactly where you want to snip before snipping, and you'll be fine. Read more
Does the job, cuts easily and cleanly
I'm not really psyched for a toenail talk but here goes - as I get older, my toenails are getting embarrassingly thicker and harder to cut. I remember as a kid seeing my grandpa's thick toe-talons and being horrified and now, mine are heading in the same direction. Anyway. Regular clippers weren't up to the task so I read a few reviews and tried this bad guy out. The teeth area - blade area? whatever - opens wide enough to engulf the nail thickness and the longer handle means there's more pressure to apply to the offending body part. My suggestion is to measure before cutting because it can cut a little too close, so I back them off just a bit before pressing down. Happy clipping! Read more

Great Clippers for THICK nails -Just take your time!
I have thick yellow toe nails and it was difficult to generate enough force with a different clipper to cut the nails. These took the effort out of that process! The opening is wide enough for my thick nails and the handles provide great leverage. My only warning is that the clippers are very sharp and you just need to really exercise care when using. As long as you do that, you will love these. Read more
