This is a great clipper. The quality of finish and ease of cut is very, very high. The blades are sharp, smoothly finished and perfectly aligned. The user experience is so smooth and effortless it takes a little getting used to. The included transparent bonded-abrasive file is also a nice touch, as it both looks and works great. Just a few $ more than a "drug store" quality set, but much nicer to use and more aesthecially pleasing. The folding feature is not super useful, as it does not fold to an especially compact size, but don't let that stop you from buying a great nail clipper/file set that feels and works like a real step up over the baseline cheap stuff. These nail clippers are a marvel of design. They do the job they were designed to do, but with a style all their own. They are compact, cut well, and catch the clippings. This in a design that folds up smaller than a typical pair of nail clippers. Well done! Read more
These nail clippers are well made and are easy to open and close. They are very easy to use and clip nails very well. It does catch nails and it is easy to dispose of nail clippings (it may not catch100% but my experience has been pretty close). The glass nail file that came with this set also works very well. The compact size of the clippers makes it easy to carry in a purse, day bag, shoulder slings etc. If you are planning to keep them in the round cylinder container that this came in with the glass file, it will be a little bulkier so it depends on your preference. I keep the nail clipper and file together in the original packaging and leave it in the glove box of the car. I may buy an additional one to carry just the nail clippers as part of an EDC bag/rack. I was surprised at the effectiveness of the nail-catching portion of the clippers. While it does not appear to have the build to collect nails, it just does! Unfortunately, the only way to empty the storage is to shake it over the trash, and it can be tedious to get certain nails out. That said, it is nice they will be cold while nails are collected, this way you can clip your nails while out and about, and not worry about finding someplace to dispose of the nails. Due to their lightweight and small size, it is easy to travel with them. As mentioned, it's easy to use while traveling due to the nail storage! The clippers are also VERY durable. I have dropped these multiple times, sometimes onto hard, rocky surfaces, and there is not even a scratch. I am more concerned that I will damage what the clippers are dropped on. Overall, I recommend these to anyone looking for a travel nail clipper tool. Read more

These cut through finger nails & toenails with remarkable ease- like no other clipper I’ve ever used. They’re very sharp and/or have fantastic mechanical advantage. Their design is nifty- very cool aesthetic. There’s no audible “click”, like conventional clippers. It’s (slightly) more difficult to see the clippers cutting action than it is with conventional clippers. It’s easy to cut too short or nip some toe skin …. I use fingernail clippers for toes…. There’s only one nail that’s bigger down there! For years, my go-to clipper has been one that requires the purchase of a toenail clipper as well- which I never use. It’s clever marketing- as the pair is near $20. I honestly have reverted to my usual clippers as my go-to. But I have to give these clippers credit for design & cut quality.
