Every single instrument has high-quality stainless steel construction, looks and feels like professional manicure/pedicure tool, and feels rather heavy for its size. They are easy to handle and provide very precise nail cutting for both fingers and toes. The slanted clippers can be successfully used either for finger nails, hang nails or ingrown toe nails. The straight clippers are very sharp and cut toe nails with ease. Both clippers have precise cut and don't leave jagged or brittle nails. If you still need to polish your nails after cutting them, the included nail file will help you accomplish just that. It files nails gently to your desired length and shape. The included tweezers also have a nice firm grip. Every instrument is designed with precision and high quality. The only reason I am giving this set four stars is because the nail collecting plates under the clippers seem to be a bit loose and don't collect the clippings effectively. This is a solid sturdy and handsome nail kit, though I should say the clippers are large like toenail clippers. Besides them being larger than I expected, the kit is very solid as I said. I also love the larger size of the clippers because they cover more surface area, making nail trimming quicker and easier. They work great for both fingernails and toenails. The oblique (angled) clipper is especially useful for hard-to-reach areas, hangnails, and trimming around possible ingrown nails. The set includes a straight clipper, angled clipper, a sturdy metal nail file, and additional grooming tools, all neatly organized in a compact leather-style pouch, which keeps everything secure and makes it very travel-friendly. These are very easy to use and feel sturdy in the hand. For the price, this set offers really good value. The only downside is the nail catcher feature. This is a really heavy duty set of nail clippers. This set includes a flat clipper (with built in file on the body), 45 degree clipper, tweezers, and a metal file all put together in a nice little leather pouch that clips close. The regular clipper also has a nail file built right onto the body. Each clipper is quite hefty in weight and is of a fully metal construction. Each clipper includes a sliding metal catcher for catching nail clippings decreasing the mess from nail clippings flying off in random directions. Minor caveat of the 45 degree clipper is that it extends quite a bit from the body so the catcher doesnt work quite as well as the standard clipper. I was able to clip my fingernails (long due for a trim and quite long) as well as my much thicker toe nails with ease. The 45 degree clipper let me get into harder to reach spots that I would have had to angle a regular clipper to get to. I got every single nail and toenail without dropping a single clipping on the floor. Read more
