These are great for soaking off artificial nails and gel nail polish. I fill the bottom reservoir with hot water and pour acetone in the top. Acetone feels cold so this makes the experience a little more pleasant. I like that I can soak both hands at the same time and can easily check the progress without having to unwrap aluminum foil and wrap it back up again. I think this method made the acetone work a little faster, but I'm not positive. I have begun to use peel off gel base under Gel X nails to make removal easier and get away from exposing myself to acetone. These bowls also work great to soak my fingers in warm soapy water to help loosen the Gel X nails so they pop off. Also great for softening my cuticles. The shape is good for resting my hands and staying comfortable. Nothing negative to report. The price was right, it was delivered quickly, I haven't had any issues with quality so far. Read more

Came back to buy a 2nd one, not because the first one died, but because it worked so well I came back when I needed a spare to take with me to another location. If you’re like me, I can’t stand when my gel nails start lifting and I need to start peeling them off. It’s my biggest pet peeve, followed by having to remove them without completely obliterating my nail beds. I bought this, along with a pure acetone (not nail polish remover) and added some hot water in here. These dishes are so incredibly comfortable and the few tools that came along with it. You have to have patience and keep your hands deep down in the rooks, but it’s a super helpful purchase and is SO SO SO much better than using those clips. I’d rather sit still and soak them while watching a show, versus having to constantly fix and pay attention to making sure my nail is completely covered under the nail clips. Read more

I tried foils and clips before a friend recommended this bowl. It's much more effective, and like a mini spa treatment for my hands. As long as you make sure the water is hot, this is the easiest way to remove your polish. The gel polish starts to peel in less than 20 minutes, and you don't have to scrape the rest off your nails.
