This stuff is amazing! I have dealt with naturally curly, very frizzy hair my whole life. I have tried all kinds of curl creams to try to tame the frizz. I just finished reviewing the Nativos Hair Strengthening Shampoo, and I figured I might as well review this too because these two products work insanely well together. Since Covid I started growing out my hair and have never been able to find a hair gel that doesn't make my hair stiff or greasy. But this one? Totally different. First off, the hold is perfect, it's strong enough to keep my hair in place all day but still flexible so it doesn’t feel like a helmet. No crunchiness, no weird residue, just a natural hold that lasts. Plus, it washes out super easily, which was a big concern for me. I don’t feel like I’m layering on product buildup every day. Upon receiving the Nativos Hair Treatment and opening the box, my nostrils were assaulted by the pungent fragrance of the product, much like the scents issuing forth from certain stores in the mall. I knew right then that I would not be able to use the cream more than once to test its hair growth and strengthening claims. However, I slammed my nostrils shut and proceeded to apply the cream on dry hair, then on wet hair. The hair cream looks like it would be greasy or gooey, but it's actually light and does soak right into the hair and scalp. It did tame flyaway strands and add a nice gloss to dry hair. On wet hair, it spread more easily and made my hair feel soft and manageable once dry. It washed out easily, but the faint scent still lingered until my next shampoo. Since I couldn't tolerate the fragrance, my niece's boyfriend offered to test the product. He rather likes the scent and how it makes his hair look and feel. He doesn't have issues with thinning hair and doesn't style his hair, but reports an improved overall condition of his medium-length mop.
