Left ice in it for 15 hours. It was all melted, but the water was super cold! I only need it for an 8 hour work day and trip to the grocery store so that wasn't an issue. Very pretty mint green color will look blue in some lighting. It is a little heavy when filled and won't fit in our car's little cup holder. The paracord handle is very...well handy to carry it. I prefer the chug cap to a straw. I turned it upside down and it didn't leak at all. I've only been using it for a few days, but so far I love it. 40 oz is the right amount. I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect drinking vessel and I couldn't be more thrilled with this one! I'm not able to get up frequently and wanted something to keep my cold drinks ice cold. My previous travel cup was only keeping ice frozen and drinks cold for a few hours, maybe 5 hours at most. I was shocked when I saw how long this cup kept my drink ice cold, it was at least 24 hours! I've had no leaking and I love, love, LOVE the cool macrame carrying strap! The outside of the cup has a mat finish that isn't slick or slippery should you pick it up like a regular glass. It's got a nice wide opening for adding my huge ice cubes and my hand fits inside for easy cleaning. I'm going for longevity so I'll continue to hand wash. I got the white one and so far it's stayed clean on the outside, that's something I was concerned about. Since I plan on bringing it to the pool, out in the sun I didn't want a dark color. Only time will tell if that makes a difference and if it was a smart move! 😬 Also, I've only been using the cover with the straw but I appreciate that 3 lids were included and I know they'll eventually be used. It is a quality cup. It keeps the liquid at temperature for about 7-10 hrs (not 24) Does not leak and is easy to carry. You have 3 cap options. Not as easy to clean, because it is narrow, but it is still worth it for me. Read more
This was better than expected. It came with 3 lids. One has 2 openings, a pop up cap which is like drinking from the lid on a carry-out coffee from your favorite coffee house. One locks down but is like drinking from a water bottle and third unscrews yet stays attached which is perfect for thicker drinks or maybe soup. It has a lanyard and a snap hook on the bottle, one lid has a handle, one has a strap and the last one has a plastic band to keep it attached to the bottle. It's pretty warm here in Alabama so keeping your coffee hot isn't terribly hard to do but even if your drink is cold with ice, it stays cold for hours even retaining ice.
