“An excellent tripod, top-notch quality all around. The fluid head is great, extremely well-made and very sturdy. Every detail of the tripod feels like it was built by a precision machine—its operation, everything about it is outstanding. The finishes and every small detail are first-class. For its price, this tripod delivers far more than what you’d expect. I recommend it to anyone considering buying itIt really hurt to have to return it, but it was way too big for my needs. I honestly made a mistake choosing it. You really need to pay close attention to the size and weight. For me, it just wasn’t what I needed for birdwatching or outdoor macro.Iwant to buy the same tripod brand with the same type of head, but a smaller one. Read more

I love this tripod. This is a heavy duty mamma jamma. The 90° angling feels secure and tight. There is some weight on it which makes it stable. I highly recommend this for a novice photographer if you have doubts on what kind of tripod to get for your first time. It’s definitely worth the money to invest in. The instruction book is thick but only has 8 pages in English the rest are for other languages. Make sure to look it over so you can identity each part. Experiment and remember to have fun with it. Stay safe and use common sense: happy shooting! I’ve use 30” with a remote app on my phone and I’m amazed how sharp my photos come out vs my shaking hands lol Read more

As a photographer who bounces between desert racing, sports, and real estate, I’ve put this Neewer aluminum fluid head and tripod through a wide range of abuse. It’s heavy, durable, and inspires confidence—even with a 600 mm lens or while running multi-exposure brackets. Stability is rock solid; pans are smooth, and it doesn’t flinch under pressure. Where it shines is video and action work. Fluid movements are steady and reliable—exactly what I need when the subject doesn’t sit still. For real estate, though, I’ll admit a geared head would be less tedious; getting perfectly level and square shot after shot is just faster with gears than with a fluid system. That said, this head has proven itself in every scenario I’ve thrown at it. If you value stability and toughness above shaving ounces, it’s a serious piece of gear that earns its spot for everyday use. Read more

Great first impressions from a full time creator. Pros * heavy duty and high quality, feels like it will last a while * fluid motion works really well and feels nice Super cool that you can adjust the movement bar, so when it’s maxed out at its tallest you can still reach the bar. Helpful for shorter people like myself. The whole tripod is much taller than me. * Super tall tripod, I didn’t realize how tall it was going to be. * easy to replace the annoying mounting screw that comes with it * it comes with a carrying bag that actually feels nice. A lot of these bags are bare minimum crap that rips open, not this one. Cons * it doesn’t go very low to the floor so you’ll need another tripod for short shots. * no way to adjust height from the center, you have to tediously match up all 3 legs for minor height adjustments. * the camera mount screw doesn’t have an easy way to screw it in you have to use an Allen wrench 💀 which is a huge pain. So you’ll have to buy another screw * camera mount can’t covert into vertical mode you’ll have to buy another mount for that. So as it is this tripod is stuck in horizontal which is a significant disappointment in 2025-2026 with a lot of content being viewed on mobile Overall, this is my favorite tripod I’ve ever owned. Will be using it for many years to come. Read more

I am impressed with the stability of this tripod. Although I thought others were exaggerating about the weight of this tripod, it is a bit heavy. Two things I wish were different: 1) that the zipper on the bag was larger and 2) that the spreader device was made of aluminum rather than plastic. Other than that, this tripod will be very useful; the bag Is nicely padded. It's not as robust as my Manfrotto tripods; I was hoping the quick release plate (QRP) would be compatible with my more expensive tripods, but alas, no... Since the legs are aluminum, most of the weight must be with the rather robust head? 20-30 years ago, a tripod with this head would have been four times or more the cost of this NeeWer tripod! Total overkill. 😇 I purchased a Canon R5 Mark II with plans of hanging the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 on it. I didn’t realize the setup would weigh over 4 lbs. The Neewer TP37 handles that with no problem. What’s impressive is how well thought out the setup is. The plate comes with 2 different size tripod screws. There is even a provision to store the unused screw. (I’ll admit I’ve lost loose parts before.) The QR plate easily adjusts to balance the weight of the lens as is the leveling of the plate. Also, when adjusting the QR plate, the “quick release plate insurance switch” gives a level of security. The whole unit is incredibly solid. Being left handed, I appreciate the ambidextrous pan bar handle. This is truly an amazing value for the money. Read more
