This is a "travel" tripod (or monopod if desired) that's compact, feature-rich, and sturdy enough for most users. I'm impressed with its build quality. It feels like it should be more expensive. I purchased mine primarily to use with a NEEWER Basics LED panel light, but I have a DSLR that I will be using with it too. It comes with a phone mount, which makes it kind of ideal for vloggers who use an iPhone with an Apple Watch as their remote and a wireless mic. The included bag is well made and the tripod fits into it with all the adapters. There's no documentation with the portable tripod, but it comes well packaged and the design makes it easy to figure out its functionality. For less than fifty, it's a good choice for casusal travel use, indoor use, and beginners who need inexpensive equipment to get the job done. While it won't be heavy-duty enough for some, many will like it. Read more

In spite of the odd graphic on this making it seem like a toy, this is a legitimately good tripod. I use it with my Canon SX70 HS (65x zoom) and it's a beast. It is aluminum but still weighty due to the solid build. The myriad ways to adjust the camera position without excessive work (like turning the adjustment knob full rotations to get the clamp to let go) is awesome and makes fast shot composition a piece of cake. I haven't used the different ways to set this up but I did configure the tripod for them when I got it and moving between the different use cases is easy and intuitive. Read more

Amazing quality at a great price. I like the ball mount and the interchangeable center posts which let you use the more stable short post when appropriate, like when using the tripod in a low and wide position or flip the posts upside down if you really need the camera down to the ground for macro. It feels like a lot of features and a solid build for the price. Read more

I am a serious landscape photographer and have to fly to most destinations. Age and TSA restrictions have made it increasingly difficult to get all my gear into limited luggage space and at a weight I can lug in and out of airports and hotels. Voila, the Neewer Litetrip tripod. I have found the tripod length to fit easily in a 24" luggage size (M) and it performs with surprising stability for the leg thickness. Love the ease of the snap leg extenders, sturdiness of the ball head, and multi-angle leg positions. The only reason for 4-stars and not 5--the totally round center column would have been better designed with a flat section for anchoring into position. On occasion, the column turns when using the pano feature. I have to really twist the column set screw hard to prevent that from happening, and then it's hard to unscrew for re-adjusting. But the overall construction and functionality make this a great travel partner. Read more

I didn't expect it to be this good. It's light enough and compact enough to fit in my day pack, and it's plenty stable. It's simple and does everything most of us need. Unless you're a professional making a living with photography this tripod is great! It's perfect for amateurs. I highly recommend it, especially for the price . . . Good job Neewer Read more

For the $, this is a excellent alternative to higher priced name brands. Solid build. Does what it is supposed to do. Small enough to throw in your traveling stuff but still kinda big for strapping on a camera bag. The tradeoff for size is that it feels stable and solid (as light tripods can be) without being flimsy and easily breakable. If you use a tripod in your photography style once in a while then this is a great choice. Travel-ish size, easy to use and a price that doesn't hurt. Read more

The design of the product – having one removable leg that becomes a monopod – is brilliant and well designed and executed. Read more
