I bought my son some new sneakers and they come untied all the time. These laces with the clip were the answer. They were sort of tricky to put on the clip because you have to cut the end of the lace, then melt it with a lighter and then snap on the little clip but once you have it together they work great. They're durable, so far it's been like 3 weeks and they haven't slipped or broken off. My son can slip his shoes on and off with ease and they stay fitted when he's wearing them, his shoes don't get loose. They are definitely convenient and save time, you don't have to stop to retie your shoe laces several times a day. Definitely worth the price. Nice little gadget to have, especially for kids. Bought these laces to go with my son's Reebok Elmo shoes. The original shoes came with standard laces, but I wanted the transform his shoes into essentially slip-ons. i originally ordered black laces but received gray instead. i was going to return them but it didn't seem worth it as they didn't cost very much and returning them would waste more time than keeping them. i've had these type of laces before and they work pretty much as expected. i like that they are very stretchy and i can adjust them very easily. the only reason i didn't give a higher rating is because they sent me the wrong colo; even the packaging said black but inside were gray laces. i guess these were not new then.? The colors are cute, and the metal clasps were very easy to attach. I used these for my child's sneakers, but unfortunately, the magnetic part detaches easily, perhaps because my child is very active. It's disappointing that the clasp doesn't hold up to vigorous movement. Read more
