This smart plug easily included into the Hubitat system. It requires 3 rapid pushes on the switch. It includes quickly. However it shows up as an unsupported device with no way of turning it on or off from the app. It required that I go into the device settings menu and change the device type to smart outlet. Then it worked fine with on and off buttons in the app. It operates the devices plugged into it easily and quickly. Nice device for the price but requires a bit of skill to make it useful. Read more
My alarm system is my hub. This device repeatedly failed the secure testing of this device and would not register/connect it. There were no instructions on how to pair this. The button blinks purple, dark green and light green with no explanation. Pushing 3 times seemed to pair it but again, not secure. Read more
I ordered two of these plugs and they worked very good. They connected to my Vivint system and the setup was very easy and had a QR code inside the box that directed you to the manual on the plug. It's a good size IMO and doesn't take to much space. I can control this plug from anywhere via the Vivint mobile app. All in all this plug is very good and works very well with my Vivint system. Works great with my lights that I control via Alexa/Echo and Google Home. I connected them to my Samsung Smartthings Hub without any issues. This replaced my GE Z-wave smart plugs that didn't have the built-in wattage meters and broke on me after only a couple of years of usage. Read more
Paired well with Homeseer. These work exactly as expected, and don't block the second outlet on a duplex plug, which is my biggest complaint about so many other products like these. Great for hard-to-reach spots or things that are easy to forget. I use them to automate turning off oil warmers when the house is not occupied - much easier than finding the fiddly little on-cord switches, and safer, because these de-energize the entire cord, not just the portion after the switch. Combined with a proper home automation platform, these are not only convenient, but are an investment in protecting your home from electrical hazards. Read more
