The niche was rather expensive is one issue. I debated on buying it for that reason since it would have been way cheaper to build my own. I did buy it and it looks great. It was easy to install. My son helped me wire it in. If the light in it quits working there is no way to replace it though. I can change the color with the remote which can change the mood of the bath.
