If you have a small dog and it's too hot, too wet, too cold or whatever, this gun and small balls can be used in the house if you have a long hallway as we do. Our small English Springer Spaniel loves chasing the balls; we first bought this gun when she was a puppy 8 years ago. 10 minutes of constant running really gives her great excercise; she never wants to stop.
