My nesting boxes needed a little more padding for the hens to squat down. As soon as I started adding Nest Box Pads to a few boxes, the hens started clucking and jumping into the empty boxes. The filler is a good thickness so they can push in to nest. There isn't a smell, it's a great fiber that does not shred all apart even with the scratching to nest. I love this product, and it works well and lasts. No need to clean, the hens do it. It's not a sticky application; it has a paper back that makes it easy to just set it in the box. Read more

Nice I like them my chickens seem comfortable and I got ten of them for a pretty decent price. I have no complaints or problems and they even fit in my custom nesting boxes, which is a plus they are a lil firm one pad last for about a week with regular cleaning I try to keep them for a few days to get my moneys worth but I could see how it may get expensive if you have to change them every 3 to 5 days cause I myself personally try to keep the bacteria down as much as I can in my chicken Coop plus I have Five chickens so I go through a 10 pack in about a week and a half but sometimes I clean out the poop and flip them over. I try to take out the messy parts and only keep the good parts so yes keeping animals in itself is a little expensive but I try to do my best to stretch safely and get my moneys worth out of what I can meaning my food in my animals products the cleanup is easy, but I may try something a little softer as I am new to keep in chickens so I’m testing a lot of different products Read more
