The Paul Mitchell Neuro Curl+ is great! I absolutely love it and the beautiful curls it gives me. It doesn’t pull or snag my hair at all like some clamp curling irons do. It makes a weird noise while it’s curling your hair and I panicked just a little the first time but then I read the instructions and it said that it does that. I really love the way it doesn’t do a hot Fahrenheit temperature, you set it by your hair texture such as fine, medium, course, stuff like that. Since I started using it my hair is gotten so much more healthy. I have the menopause hair that’s been falling out and breaking super easy and I’ve tried everything and I’ve been very happy with this curling iron. It leaves my curls smooth and polished with minimal frizz, giving such a sleek, finished look. I also love that it has an extra long cord! Excellent product and totally worth it for strong healthy hair! Read more

Neuro Curl+ by Paul Mitchell Smooth 1” Ceramic Flat Iron is by far the best curling iron I’ve used. A top quality curling iron that heats fast and cools quickly after use which is a huge plus for me. I love the swivel cord that is almost 9’ long. Makes it super convenient. The weight isn't heavy, making it easy for arthritic hands to hold. I haven’t had the pleasure of testing the dual voltage but appreciate that it’s there. 5 temperatures for various hair types and a 6th for professional use. The tension function on the clip is really what makes this curling iron the be all and end all for me. It does not come with a heat resistant pouch which would be a nice touch at this price point. Doesn’t matter though, I’m so happy with this product. Read more

This might be the most 'high end' hair device I've ever owned. The question is: is it worth the money? And honestly, so far, I would say yes! The controls are simple and easy to use, which is always a must. But the TensionTune dial is where the really value is at, since it lets you adjust the tension to exactly what you need. The iron itself is well made and light, and heats up fast. It curls pretty well and works like a dream. And it's nice looking, too! I liked it. I feel it will be a good iron in the long run, but to this point Read more

This is a well-made quality hair tool which is what you would expect from this brand. It feels solid and it should last for a long time. It is super easy to use. It comes with a good instruction booklet but it's pretty intuitive. It arrives well wrapped in a nice box. It has 6 heat levels and it heats up so fast, almost immediately. At the higher levels it gets extremely hot. (It doesn't come with a thermal glove but if you're not proficient with a curling iron, you may want to get one). There's a slight buzzing sound which is normal. It has a cool tip & a little stand so it can be put on the counter. It has an automatic one hour shut off and has dual voltage. My hair is longish & straight and doesn't hold a curl very well. I have to use lots of volumizing products. This curled my hair very nicely. One feature that is different than usual is that you can adjust the tension in the clamp to suit your particular type of hair. My curls didn't necessarily last longer as it's stated in the listing ... but it's probably just my hair and may be different for others. But generally I like this curling iron. It is a bit pricey at $150 (at the time of this review) but good hair tools can cost more. Is it worth it? Well that depends. It is a substantial tool but for me I get the same curls with some of my less expensive curling irons. Read more

This curly iron is amazing! It heats up quickly, and helped my hair to stay beautifully styled. This is great for short to medium length hair since it is only a 1 inch iron. It does make a slight sound, but that is okay since it was designed to do that and helps to protect your hair, due to the way it was made. It didn’t take much time to curl my hair, and while I really do enjoy this iron, I do feel it is very expensive for what it is. Yes it’s a nice product, but not very affordable for everyone. The Neuro 1" Curling Iron by Paul Mitchell stands out for a couple of reasons. The dual voltage allows me to take the iron with me to Europe when I travel. I learned the hard way on a previous trip that this is needed as my hair tool immediately "fried" and was unusable. The iron does not have the proper plug for Europe; you will still need an adaptor, but it will be able to handle the European voltage. The iron is of standard size and is not a small "travel" size. The feature that I unexpectedly love is the adjustable clamp tension. I found that I can adjust it to a lighter tension and slide my hair through the clamp, much as I would a flat iron. This is so helpful in styling my short hair. Besides these two special features, I found the curling iron to be of very high quality. It is solidly made and does a good job of curling my hair quickly with the easily adjustable heat level. I expect quality from this brand (I also have their hair dryer) and this iron performs! This is a pretty good curler. I don't know that it is a 'travel' curler, as it doesn't seem compact at all. I do like that the grip at the end stays plenty cool when twirling the stick. Price-wise, it is a bit much. But it is a very nice curler. It feels good in the hand, and I don't get any hand or arm fatigue while using it. I can say that it works well for very fine hair. No snags at all while drawing hair against the stick. Read more

I've been using this tool for over a month now and I must say, I think it's the best curling iron I've ever used. It doesn't take long to heat up and it doesn't over dry my hair and make it brittle. It's a high quality hair styling tool and very much worth the price. The curls stay longer in my hair and I'm even able to use it on synthetic hair when needed by using a low heat. I'm very happy with this product and highly recommend it! Read more
