I own a decent number of Neutrogena products and none of them have ever disappointed me. This brand is brilliant and so is this makeup remover! My sister and I use a little bit with a cotton pad - she has sensitive skin and it’s never caused any harm to her skin barrier - and it leaves our skin feeling moisturized without any greasiness. It’s true to the title as it’s very gentle, yet powerful and effectively cleanses my skin and even easily removes waterproof makeup. Neutrogena and Garnier are my top two makeup removers. I have only used Cliniques eye makeup remover which is pretty expensive, but it was the only one that actually really removed my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. It works better than some high-end brands I’ve tried—removing my waterproof mascara and eyeliner with ease. Good product, left my skin feeling very soft afterwards. I used this on waterproof mascara that was very stubborn to remove with regular makeup remover and it worked great. Only issue is that it came with no seal and about an inch of the product was gone. Likely spilled in transit but still a safety concern since it is meant to be used for the eyes specifically. This is an excellent eye makeup remover. I've used it for years to remove eye makeup and mascara. I shake it prior to applying it to a cotton pad and gently remove the makeup. If I'm wearing heavy mascara, then I will need 2 cotton pads for each eye. It does not irritate or sting my eyes. In the past, I always used another name brand remover, but that one became too pricey, so I switched to Neutrogena. It's emollient enough to do the job without being greasy.
