This is my second purchase. The balm is creamy with a slight nude/caramel color and the best part is that it has SPF of 20! I have a hard time finding lip balm with SPF that has color to it and does not have the heavy perfume flavors. This is unscented with little to no flavor. I never write reviews but they messed with the formulation and color and I’m so disappointed. This was my go-to lip balm for many years. I loved the color and shimmer of the old version in the black tube. The new color is darker and has no shimmer. Not as moisturizing either. Why change it?! Read more

I love the Soft Carmel color. It goes on silky smooth and leaves a nice shimmer. This works great for protecting the lips against sunburn/damage. I even use it on my daughters at the beach because the color is soft and fairly natural looking but when the shimmer is gone I can tell it needs to be reapplied. I am kind of a fanatic about sunscreen! I am not sure about healing already sun-damaged or dry lips because I do not use it that way. It does need to be reapplied often in my experience. I also use it to tone down a few lipsticks I have that are too dark for me and a few that are too drying. I have reordered this several times and I am still pleased. Read more
