So much better than plastic
I ordered the small one for small area and it’s easy enough to roll around and if I roll off of the glass I can easily roll back on, I don’t have to lift the chair to get it back on. To clean wipe clean with windex. When it arrived the box was trashed smashed ripped open I was worried it would be broken. It was perfect strong glass!! Read more

Package was damaged, but mat was not. The package came smelling strongly of lavender. ?
The package had several spots that were damaged, punched holes into. So I was expecting a damaged mat. I was pleasantly surprised that the mat itself was fine. I think that was luck, as the foam around it was busted up and not protecting the mat very well. So far, so good. I have a fear that I will break through the glass, as I'm not a lightweight, but within the listed weight limit. I have been working from home going on 3 years, and finally decided to splurge on a new chair and chair mat as my old chair sunk into the carpet and was difficult to move. This seems to serve the purpose well, and I recommend it. I bought the 36"x36" which doesn't give much room to move, but the area I work in is not much bigger. That makes it harder to use a chair that sinks into the carpet because there's no real room to get momentum to move it away from the desk to get up. This solved that nicely. Read more

Was great till it exsploded into tiny shards.
This mat was great and worked really well for what I needed until the wheels on my chair fell off the edge and it exploded everywhere. This is said to be tempered glass but when the mat broke the shards where sharp and extremely small. I was cut when the mat broke and then cut again during clean up. Even with cut resistant gloves on shards where still found poking into them. Clean up was a nightmare with how small the pieces became. Read more
