This is a magnetic holder, not a MagSafe holder. It fits well, holds well and releases easily. It was easy to install in just a few minutes. I love everything about it except that I thought that it was MagSafe, meaning that I thought I could keep a cable connected to it so my phone would charge in the car with me connecting my cable everytime.
