I really want to like the V2s. I’ve owned 6 pairs of the original, so I was excited to see my size is available in a colorway I liked. But, alas, I will probably return these. Pros: I really like added protection around the top/sides of the shoes. It will really up the durability overall. I was really looking forward to that upgrade when I saw the photos. Cons: 1. Wide does not feel as wide as original (either more padding it smaller shoe, idk) 2. Lacing the shoes is difficult as they’ve made some aesthetic-over-function decisions that I do not care for 3. Feels stiffer overall I’ve been sitting on my couch wearing these for about 30 minutes, and my feet hurt. I’m not even using them for sports and I want to take them. I would try sizing up, but there aren’t any that size available currently. Read more

Just played my first match in these new shoes, received two compliments, and they felt great on the court. High stability, great cushioning, easier on the joints than a lot of other shoes. Read more

NB missed the mark on V2. The CT Rally V1 was much more comfortable and fit more “normal”. This shoe is very narrow (I got the wide), and you can feel all the structural supports under foot. Typically the V1 takes 30-45 min to break in, I couldn’t wait to take off V2 after 2 hours. Hoping NB brings back V1 Read more

These shoes have this pointy area on the outside of the mid sole that is unbearable. I do not know how anyone on earth can play in these shoes. Read more

The shoe looks great, and the cushioning is very comfortable. However, I ordered a 2E wide, and it still felt too narrow, so I had to return it. I hope New Balance addresses this sizing issue in future versions. Read more
