I was struggling to find a decent pair of Kource shoes I can use to play pickle ball. My struggle was in that I wanted a comfortable pair that had a wide toolbox and was easy to put on and takeoff and was reasonably durable and wouldn’t wear down after only a couple weeks. I’m a casual player about 1 to 2 sessions per week. I play mostly on hard services outdoors, but also on gymnasium floors in the cold months these shoes have surpassed my expectations. They’re incredibly comfortable very easy to slip off. They provide great balance and stability and there’s plenty of room in the tow box for my big wide feet to spread out in and not feel crammed. I’ve had them for about eight months and the souls have worn down at this point, which is pretty good. I didn’t expect them to last more than six months. I think I can get another four months out of them unless my place give me increases. I’ll be looking to replace them with the same pair this spring. Read more
Let me introduce you to the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4 in Orange Beige (aka Hot Mango)—a shoe that doesn’t just support your training… it dares you to push harder every time you lace up. From the moment I slid my foot into these, I knew this wasn’t just another daily trainer. The Rebel v4 blends energy, comfort, and style into one beautifully engineered package. It’s the kind of shoe that makes you want to run farther, faster—even when you don’t have to. Performance: Powered by New Balance’s FuelCell foam, the midsole gives you noticeable bounce and propulsion with every stride. Whether I’m doing tempo runs, long efforts, or even just easy miles, it delivers smooth transitions and that addictive “pop” off the forefoot. You don’t just run in these—you glide. Fit & Feel: It hugs the foot like a performance sock, but with room where it matters. The upper is breathable and flexible, yet secure—so your feet stay locked in without feeling cramped. Lightweight, responsive, and just enough cushion to protect without slowing you down. Looks: Let’s talk about that Hot Mango colorway—because this shoe turns heads. The orange-beige palette is fire without being flashy. It’s bold, fast-looking, and absolutely unique. People will ask about them… and you’ll be proud to explain. Versatility: These aren’t just for runners chasing pace goals—they’re a perfect all-day shoe for anyone who lives actively and moves with purpose. I wear them for training and then keep them on for errands or coaching. They’re light, stylish, and ready for wherever the day takes you. Inspiration: The Rebel v4 isn’t just a shoe—it’s a tool for greatness. It reminds you that every run, every rep, every step is part of the process. Whether you’re building toward your first race or chasing a PR, this shoe fuels that forward momentum with every stride. Bottom line: The New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4 in Hot Mango is for those who believe greatness isn’t just a goal—it’s a daily decision. If you want a shoe that supports your grind, rewards your effort, and keeps your fire lit—this is it. Get up. Lace up. Get after it. Read more
I would really like to give these shoes 4.5/5 as they are such a fantastic shoe, but they do have some slight limitations. I’ve been wearing the NB FuelCell for nearly 2 years now and liked them so much I bought a second pair just to have a fresh rotation. They’ve been fantastic for running, walking, and cardio (Elliptical). They are comfortable, lightweight, and they absorb impact beautifully. I easily log 5 - 6 miles per walk/run, and these keep my feet feeling great with no blisters or joint fatigue. I recently started using my newer pair in the gym, and while they’re still comfortable for general training, they’re not ideal for weightlifting or stability work. The cushioning that makes them great for running doesn’t offer the flat, grounded feel you’d want for Leg focused or balance-based exercises. You’ll get a bit of “squish” under load, which can compromise form if you’re lifting heavy. That said, for walking, running, treadmill/elliptical work, or even all-day wear they’re hard to beat. Just be aware they’re not a substitute for cross-trainers or lifting shoes. Read more

Best NB ever bought. Summer shoe, very breathable. Read more
Only have about 25 miles on these, but noticed my toes get cold in 20 degree weather. Not so with my other shoes. Nice foam cushion, good stability and support, hopefully they wear well over time. Mine run a bit short and a half size larger would give my toes some more room. Medium width is more than adequate and need to pull the laces tighter. Nice shoes! Recommended. Read more
