I have been using these monitors for over a year now and have not had any issues. The were easy to put on the monitor arms I brought so I could have dual monitors. One of my 24" monitors I use as part of my work setup died and I needed a replacement. This Sceptre 27" fit the bill nicely. Not only was it a welcome increase in screen real estate, but it also has very nice image quality. The picture is brighter than my older monitors and has great contrast. The whites are whiter and the blacks are darker. Text is sharp and clear running at 1920x1080 and colors are nicely represented. The VESA mount made it super simple to mount on my monitor arms. While I'm not using this for gaming, the high refresh rate and low response time provide a flicker free image that is easy on the eyes. I'm staring at three monitors for coding and web browsing all day. I wish the other two in my rig were as nice as this one. I decided to upgrade even though there is nothing wrong with my two monitors. This one arrived one day early , size as described (27" viewing area). However the preset was blindingly bright. I followed the manual and tried to make change. That didn't work. I called scepter's 1-800 number. No one answered. I emailed their tech support, no response. I don't want to return it, nor does Amazon want me to. But when Specter not responding, I had no option. So I called the Amazon. The advisor tried to get me to contact scepter . I told her I had. She then connected me with Amazon tech support and said "...our tech support is great..." I said to myself: "Sure..." but decided to give it a try.. Guess what, Amazon support IS great. The tech managed to walk me through the process and fix the problem for me. Suggestion to my fellow amazon shoppers: call Amazon, don't let them send you to the non responsive sellers or manufacturers. Give Amzaon's own tech support a try. You may be delighted by their responsiveness and knowledge. By the way, still no follow up whatsoever from scepter after 2 days Suggestion to Scepter: do not preset the monitor so bright. Don't make preset the default. Give a range of suggestions and make user setting as the default. By the way, this 100 HZ gaming monitor works fine if you only need a desktop monitor. 8/1/25 been a week so far and satisfied with the quality of this BIG BEAUTIFUL monitor for the great low price. a few bits of advice/insights: for the price I paid for the monitor I got the extra Asurion coverage just in case it stops working after the Amazon return period. take into consideration all monitors can only go to the highest resolution offered IF your computer can go that high. if the monitor box says 4K but your computer can only go up to 1080 then that's what you will see = the better the graphics card and processor the better the resolution. do not touch the front screen at all since it is very delicate and can get damaged easily. adjust the monitor settings from your computer if it turns off to often. the built in speakers are not good so plan on buying great speakers if you want to listen to music at its best. all in all, i would recommend this monitor for those on a budget considering all i have mentioned in this review. i will update this review if there are any changes worth mentioning.
