We bought a turn key home 4+ years ago and updates to the home weren't a huge necessity since everything in our home was brand new, and we already had a lot of what we already needed at the time. Right now, we've come to the point where we're in progress of making some updates to our space and slowly adding more aesthetically pleasing pieces to our home, besides what the developer (we bought our house from) installed. I've always wanted a mirror like this, and I knew it would be perfect for our space. The black metal frame is nice and sturdy. The weight of the mirror is hefty and it's super cute! We're testing it out in different spaces, but ultimately it will likely end up being installed horizontally in our teeny, tiny guest bathroom, where it JUST fits! When I say teeny tiny, I mean it, so adding such a large (24"x36") mirror to it, really opens up the space! I love it and want a couple of more! P.S.Getting a mirror shipped in the mail is always nerve wracking, but this company did a good job in securing the package! I did not use this mirror on a bathroom wall, but rather as a piece of decor on the hearth of my living room fireplace, which I never use. The frame of this mirror is a lightweight steel alloy of some sort, and the mirror has a hanging bracket on the rear plus comes with the wall bracket to match. It would be an absolute cinch to hang if you decided to do that! It's also not a heavy mirror, so it should hang easily, perhaps even with just nails (but I'd use wall anchors to be sure.) Importantly, this mirror reflects accurately. While it's nice sometimes to have a full-length mirror that distorts your image a little bit to make you seem taller or thinner, with a bathroom mirror where you'll be looking at your face, hair and other fine details, it's important that a square, proportional image is reflected. Clean and simple mirror that has really good depth to the frame itself. It is a streamlined, modern sort of look to it, but the metal frame depth did keep it from feeling too cheap. It hung easily, and doesn't seem to have any distortion to reflection shape/proportions or colors. It appears much larger in real life than I thought it would and casts a perfect distortion free reflection. The modern design with black frame will be a perfect compliment to my newly renovated bathroom once complete. I need to order a second one now that I know the first one looks so good. Ordered this mirror for use above a bathroom vanity. Ordered in two sizes, and both are for the same room. Good: The mirror backing is heavy and the mirror does not seem to bend or warp easily, so the image is undistorted when mounted. The black edge finish is kind of a brushed texture instead of simply matte or gloss black, so take note. The back of the mirror has integrated French cleat receivers for either horizontal or vertical mounting and the mounting hardware is included, screws, anchors, and opposite wall cleat. Not So Good: The bezel could be a little thicker, it is thin and does make the mirror seem a little "budget" to me. Overall it meets my expectations and I think it will look nice for a long time to come. Read more
