I needed a dog bed that can be fully washed because my dog has an issue that causes him to throw up once every couple of weeks and it’s always in the middle of the night and on his bed. I also needed a bed that kept him cool and this bed fit both requirements. It’s also a great looking bed that passed his scratch test when I 1st put it together. He scratched it for awhile and then finally gave up and the cover handled it with no issues. The cooling part of this bed, I’ve noticed it right away because he’s not switching to the tile in the middle of the night like he did in the foam beds. My dog loves this bed. The material and the way it's made allow it to stay cooler than other beds I have had. My dog also does not chew on this bed like some of the others. We have owned countless dog beds and eventually they all take on a doggy odor in the stuffing which you cannot wash. The base of this bed is firm, yet full of holes which do not take on odor as readily. It can be hosed down if necessary. The cover is thick and high quality. Read more

This bed is a pretty attractant! We bought this for our Lhasa who tore his ACL last summer. But out you poodle wants it too! Our Lhasa knew it was for him and climbed right in. But out you poodle tries to share it, which doesn't go over very well. So, we are getting another one for her. I really don't mind, since they are machine washable.
