The media could not be loaded. This little light packs a surprising punch. When I opened the box, I wondered if I had been duped as the light looked small. But it felt sturdy enough and the construction and materials were decent quality so I figured I’d try it. It actually works surprisingly well! It was quick and easy to put together, only took a moment. And it mounts on your laptop or computer monitor very easily. It’s honestly surprisingly bright for how small it is if you have it turned up all the way. I was surprised at how much it actually helped fill in the shaded areas on my face on my video calls for work, and it made me look more alive, and like myself instead of pale and washed out like normal. I also like that you can dial in your brightness and color settings and leave them for next time, instead of needing to adjust them every time you turn on the light (like others I’ve used). I tried several lights for lighting my face in video meetings. This is my favorite for the following reasons: 1. It is battery-powered, so I don't have to use up another plug and drag another cord across my desk. The battery life is good for my needs. I don't use it that often, just for a couple of meetings a week. I've had it for around 3 months and haven't had to charge it yet. 2. It saves your settings! All of the other lights I tried, I had to reset the brightness level and color every time I turned it on. The controls on this light are a dial, so they stay where you set them from one use to the next. 3. I can reach the controls from my seat. All of the other lights I tried had the controls halfway down the cord. This meant it was somewhere behind my monitor, and I had to get up and go around the back of my desk to find it and turn it on/change the brightness. 4. It comes with a webcam-style mount that allows me to easily rest it at the top of my monitor next to my webcam. All of the other lights I tried had a heavy-duty clip which would not work with my monitor because the edge is curved slightly on the back. Those clips were also fairly obtrusive and would interfere with the top of my screen. 5. Because it is cordless and easily mounted on my monitor, I can easily remove it and use it for other things (e.g., adding light to something for a photo) and put it back without any fuss. Pros: 1) Easy to use and set up. 2) Light temp is easily adjustable to any mood. 3) Small and light weight. 4) Pretty much plug and play right out of the box. Cons: 1) Battery life is much shorter than advertised. If you want to go longer than an hour, you need to have them plugged in, which eliminates the advantage of a battery powered light. 2) You really need two lights to balance the lighting. The reason I purchased these is to eliminate the “Light Ring” in the middle of your eyes or on your glasses. They should have put the four blue lights, indicating remaining battery life, on the front of the light. My solution to the short battery life is to plug in the lights at home or attach a portable cell phone battery. I have several, from giveaways and trade shows, that extend the light’s life for hours. This light saved me from being in the dark at nights while streaming with my Logitech StreamCam. Works great.. Has a usb plug if you use it like I did on my home monitor, but it also has a batter that lasts a while too. Can change the light from cool Blue/White to more of a standard off white bulb like you would have at home. Brightness levels are easily changed through a scroll dial on the device. Mounts great onto my monitor. The stand is actually better than some webcam clamps. This was a good light for a while, but over the years it lost its ability to prop itself up. It constantly falls over due to the light itself being too heavy. The little grippy part on the back also constantly slips and causes the whole thing to fall off my monitor randomly. At this point it's not usable anymore without serious rigging to hold it together, but for the first couple years it was good. The lighting is great, holds a charge for a good amount of time, but the tilting design means it's not good for long term use. Read more

TL;DR: Light is bright, color warmth changeable. Light with weighted base on desktop monitor wont stay on. Light constantly falls off. Light broke itself by continuously falling off due to weighted base pulling it off the monitor. Cant use clamp base on monitor, wouldn't use pinching clamp base on laptop. Find a different light. The Good: - light is bright when needed, tone of light can be modified to be warmer or cooler. - light is straightforward to use, makes my face look great on camera as a fill light. The Bad: -Light will NOT stay on monitor with weighted base. I bought this for my WFH setup, and it is unusable because after an hour or so the weighted base pulls it off the back of the monitor. I tried double stick tape to keep it on, but double stick tape doesn't stick to the base's vinyl padding. - Light is broken because it constantly falls off back of montior onto desk. In the end I'm losing money on this one. I should've returned it as soon as I started noticing these problems but I tried to make due and fix it myself. Read more
