I was choosing between a few different cameras and after trying them all for a couple hours, at different times of day, I decided to go with this one. It's really simple to use, just plug it in and your computer should recognize it. If you have any issues you can go to your camera settings and find the device, there you can toggle it on and off and adjust some settings (for Windows). The video quality seems good on both my end and the people I am video calling with. I have also had pretty positive feedback on the built in microphone so, if you don't have a headset with a mic, this one works pretty good. The camera has a pretty wide field of view which can be both a positive or a negative depending on your needs. Personally I prefer a slightly smaller field of view so that the room behind me isn't being show so much, you can zoom the camera in the settings but it's not quite the same as narrowing the field of view. My only other minor complaint is with the privacy cover over the camera. It works fine but I would prefer one that slides over the camera instead of flips up/ down. I can already notice the little flip getting looser since I purchased it so my concern is it not staying open in the future. The quality of this camera is great, and I bought it specifically because my old one wasn’t performing well on Streamyard. For that platform, it works really well — clear picture and no issues. However, when I switched back to my usual Zoom meetings, the performance wasn’t the same. The audio had a slight echo, and I ended up switching back to my original camera for Zoom. This has been my favorite studio purchase by far. The video quality is surprisingly good for the price, and if I remember correctly it was about $100 cheaper than comparable Logitech webcams. The resolution looks amazing for what you pay, and it has been more than enough for my recording and studio setup. I personally don’t use the built-in microphone since I run a standalone mic, so I can’t really judge the audio quality, but for video performance alone this camera is an excellent value.
