Great for the solo camper/hiker
Son loves it and that is all that matters! A bit more $$ than I was wanting to spend, so hoping it is worth it in the long run. We are hoping he will take it out soon and give it a "live trial" for camping, hiking and back country hunting in the Montana and Colorado mountains. He says it will definitely be more comfortable than a "cheaper" hammock. Weight is a little more then he was expecting which throws off his pack weight. Unsure of the durability at this time, hoping it lasts awhile. Assembly was ok, a bit awkward but maybe once he gets more used to it and comes up with what works best for him, it will get easier and fast. It is a tent, ultimately, so warmth is not an "option" but he has a great light weight, deep freeze bag so should be good to go. LOVES the under storage, however, we have excessive bear counts near us, so stringing up is 1st line of avoidance and non-edible storage underneath. Read more
