NIKE Brasilia Small Duffel - 9 0

Previously, I’ve never been one of those gym people who carried their bag with them to the workout floor. With this bag purchase, I decided to join the bandwagon. When I work out, I always bring with me a small towel and my journal. A recently new edition to my workouts is wearing a pair of “squat shoes” due to my lack of flexibility and poor mobility. And then there are days when I need to use chalk when deadlifting to keep my sweaty hands from dropping the bar. Another item I regularly use is a dipping belt to add extra weight when I do dips or chin ups. And the number of times I forgot to wear my watch to the gym because I forgot it at home. So many things! That’s where the bag comes in. It’s just the right size for all the options I want to use while I’m working out. I researched many bag options, both duffel and backpacks. Price was a factor. I lot of people love the King Kong bags, but as a starter bag, those bags are too much gym bag for me at this time, and costly. I wanted something that had some pockets or separate areas that would fit all of my gym “necessities” and my gym clothes. I prefer to use duffels for car trips as they’re easier to pack in a vehicle and collapse when not full. This Nike bag is a very nice duffel. Love the materials and the gray color turned out perfect. If you’re searching various brands, the small Nike compares to a medium Adidas. I like the material on the Nike better than the Adidas but the shoulder strap on the Adidas is padded and more comfortable to carry when full. However both are solid choices but for this size I’d give a slight lean to the Nike. If you’re considering large duffels I do not like the Nike design with the false bottom compartment compared with the Adidas cavernous space from top to bottom. Just a preference thing but understand what you’re getting with the large Nike. Read more

Exactly what we needed! This is the smallest Nike Brasilia duffel that fits a size 5 soccer ball in the side compartment (probably a basketball too). If your child is using a size 3 ball, get the Extra Small instead (a size 4 ball will also fit in the Extra Small bag, unless they have big cleats in the main compartment - US 7, EUR 40). The zippered side compartment is basically a cube (designed to hold a ball), so large shoes won’t lay flat. My CrossFit shoes (US 11.5, EUR 45) would need to be on a diagonal in the side compartment of this Small bag. My big shoes fit comfortably in the main compartment of the Extra Small bag though (with room for a water bottle, shin guards for box jumps, & workout clothes). If you want to carry work/casual clothes plus workout clothes, try the Medium or something with multiple large compartments. My son got a new “Small” bag perfect for his size 5 soccer ball & gear, and I inherited a gently used “Extra Small” workout bag! Read more

Overall it’s a great duffel for the price, the quality of stitching is remarkable, the zippers allow you to easily open each pouch comfortably without it sticking or getting caught. There are so many zippable pockets for those of you who like to keep things organized and a great amount of space. As you can see in the photos I am able to carry my belt, clothes, towel, pre workout, and creatine all in the main duffel and still have excess space for further storage. There’s two pockets on the sides, one on the front by the logo, and on internal. The only downside is that the strap that goes around your shoulder isn’t removable which is an L.
