Our much less expensive blender stopped and this was recommended by someone we know that is much, much smarter than I. We have found their recommendation to be exactly what we needed. Our version of this product is RECONDITIONED so the durability verdict is still out. I have no doubt that it will outlast and outperform the "three easy payments for $19.99" ones because the performance is spectacular. Due to health needs, my wife uses it daily and so far, it falls into the category of "just what we need." It is easy to use, clean, and does not require tons of counter space. So happy with this blender, I was looking at it for awhile and finally decided to get it and it was worth it. It crush ice to slush instantly and blends everything so fast love it. I love that it came with two single serve cups, what I did not like is that it was deliver in the original box that says “Ninja Blender” not in an Amazon box which was upsetting because anyone could have stolen it when it was left on my front porch. It also did not come in white and block box that most of the Ninja blenders come in because of that I thought maybe it was not brand new, but I spoke to Amazon who ensure me that is how Amazon received them from the company and everything looked brand new with , I also wish the cord was more easily stored you have to keep pushing it in, I wish it had a button to just reel cord in. Anyway if you are thinking of buying the Ninja go for it you won’t be disappointed. As our old blender broke a couple of months ago, I was in the market for a more powerful one that could handle my daily use to make smoothies. This was act the 1st on a list of the "top 10 blendersof 2019," even though it's price was muck less than others on the same list. When I received it, I was shocked at justhow much this blender coul do! Everything from pureeing tomixing batter! It comes with a chart, in the instructions, that lists what speed the blender should be set to to make almost anything you could want out of a blender. Not only am I now having daily smoothies, but knock-off Sta**ucks fraps that are equally as delicious, if not more. From the look of the blender it seems very simple, with a power button, a startbutt8n, 3 speed buttons and that's it, so my hopes we're not nearly as high as what I recieved. Read more

I use this blender to make spinach and berry smoothies. I found I have to run the ice first by itself, Otherwise, I have large ice chips in the final product. It does a great job of making smoothies after that. Cleaning is just OK. It is hard to know exactly what to do with the six very sharp blades on the central spire. I have not cut myself yet but they seem dangerous (probably why they work so well). I add olive oil to my smoothies (for brain health) and the inside of the blender container feels very greasy after that. I have to run some Dawn and water to get it clean. The only other issue is that it is very loud but it works very fast so the noise is short-lived. Read more

I had been using a little blender for years. I had no idea what I was missing. I basically only use a blender for smoothies, shakes, and fresh salsa. I would have to stop blending multiple times so I could mix by hand with a big spoon. It was super frustrating. I finally asked for this blender for Christmas. I was so impressed! It blended so quickly, chopped up my frozen strawberries like nothing and I never had to stop the blender to unclog the blades. Gosh, I wish I had this years ago.
