The controllers seem more ergonomic, with a slightly larger form factor that makes them more comfortable to hold for longer sessions. The new magnetic connector system for attaching to the console seems to work reliably. Like its predecessor, the Joy-Con 2 can be used in multiple ways — attached to the main console for handheld, or detached for two-player multiplayer, or even used individually. The light blue / light red color scheme gives a fresh, fun look to your console setup. Joy-Con 2 (Light Blue/Light Red) represents a solid, incremental upgrade over the original Joy-Cons — more comfortable, more solidly built, easier to attach/detach, and still offers the same flexibility. I love the quality of the new switch controllers! Theyre better in pretty much every way. Theyre larger than the first switch, have a stronger build, and most importantly they have a magnetic connection instead of the sliding mechanism! Plus, these are a great price compared to other retailers! Read more
Stylish, Smooth, and Everything You Want in a Joy-Con Upgrade I recently picked up the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con controllers in Light Blue and Light Red, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Nintendo knocked it out of the park with this color combo—it’s fresh, fun, and gives my console a bright, personalized touch that really stands out. The pastel-like tones are vibrant without being too flashy, and they look even better in person than in the photos. From a performance standpoint, these Joy-Cons deliver exactly what you’d expect from Nintendo’s latest generation of hardware. The button response is crisp, the joysticks feel tight and accurate, and there’s no noticeable lag or delay during gameplay. I've tested them with a range of games—from fast-paced action titles to casual party games—and they performed flawlessly every time. One big improvement over earlier models is the feel of the analog sticks. So far, they’re smooth and responsive with zero sign of drift—a major concern with older Joy-Cons. I’ve been using them daily for a few weeks now and haven’t noticed any of the common wear issues that plagued first-gen controllers. Hopefully this continues with longer use, but so far, so good. Pairing was a breeze—just snap them onto the Switch 2 and they sync instantly. I also love the versatility: they work perfectly whether attached to the console in handheld mode, used wirelessly, or shared with a friend for multiplayer sessions. The HD Rumble is still one of the most underrated features, adding subtle feedback that really enhances gameplay immersion. Battery life has also been excellent. I’ve gotten multiple long play sessions (5+ hours) without needing to recharge, and they hold a charge well when not in use. No complaints there. If you’re looking to replace an older set of Joy-Cons or simply want to add a splash of personality to your console setup, I’d highly recommend this Light Blue / Light Red set. They offer all the functionality and reliability you expect from official Nintendo accessories, with an added dose of style that makes gaming feel even more fun. Read more

I’ve used a Nintendo Switch for over 4 years, so I know about the drift issues Joy-Cons can develop. With this new set, no problems so far. They look sturdy, feel well built, and I really like that they can also be used like a PC gaming mouse. So far, reliable and just what you’d expect from Nintendo. Recommended. Read more
Works right out of the box. Would purchase again. Read more
Bad enough that the Switch 2 only comes with one controller, but to buy another one is so expensive. That's why it loses a star. Otherwise, it's a high quality item that doesn't drift like the original Switch 1 controllers did. Read more
