I like these. They do what they are supposed to do. I bought them as a DIY solution for under-cabinet lighting. I will say I was a bit surprised at how cheap they felt, but aside from feeling cheap, they certainly don’t look it. I do have white tile and white walls, so light reflects off of them pretty easily, especially in a closed, confined space under my kitchen cabinets. That being said, I have had to reduce the brightness on these to just above the minimal brightness setting in order to prevent them from tripping their own light sensor and continuously turning on and off. I wish I would’ve known that to begin with; however, there is really no way for me to know that until I receive them and try them in my own space. That being said, I do really like the soft ambient light they put out, which is truly what I wanted without having to do a bunch of electrical work to get under-cabinet lights. I am going to keep them for now, and if you are considering purchasing these for makeshift under-cabinet lighting, I would suggest just being prepared that if you have lighter tile, walls, and cabinetry like myself, you will likely have to run them on the lowest brightness setting. They immediately sent me replacements and these Work well. I LOVE the look. I got them for my elderly mother in law to make sure she had light that led her to the bathroom but ended up loving how beautiful they look and how They elevate the space so I will be buying more.
