I’ve tried three different bars from Noble Formula, and this brand consistently delivers high-quality skincare with natural ingredients. As a physician-founded and veteran-owned company that’s been around since 1997, they clearly prioritize quality control—each bar even comes with a lot number and expiration date. My skin feels clean and fresh without ever feeling "tight" or stripped. It leaves my face feeling balanced and hydrated. I really like skincare products with emu oil. In this soap, it provides deep moisture and helps reduce redness without leaving any greasy residue. The mild oat content provides a very light, non-abrasive exfoliation that is perfect for sensitive skin. It produces a soft, creamy foam that feels luxurious and soothing during use. The ingredient list is excellent, featuring calendula-infused olive oil and emu oil to support the skin barrier. It is handmade in the USA, palm-oil free, and contains no artificial fragrances. While it has a very subtle, "clean" natural scent, it is essentially unnoticeable, which I prefer. I find this works best as a morning cleanser or a second cleanse. It’s perfect for washing away excess oil, flakes, and surface buildup to keep skin looking clear. I don’t typically use it for heavy makeup removal, as its strength lies in being a gentle, calming daily treatment. The soap is high-quality and long-lasting; a little goes a long way, making it a great value. If you have sensitive or easily irritated skin and are looking for a soap that cleanses while remaining extremely gentle, I highly recommend this. I’ll definitely continue to explore more from this brand. Read more

It looks like Noble Formula sells two variants of soap with Emu oil. There is one variant with pink packaging that had calamine added and this blue packaging variant that does not have calamine added. I have tried both. In my usage, I did not notice much of a difference with or without calamine. Regardless, I must say that Emu oil is a must! When I backpacked through India many years ago, the soap with Emu oil that helped with my skin redness so much. I'm so glad I can buy similar soap that is just as effective stateside now! I use this soap exactly as the instructions say. With warm water, it lathers on very well. It's not like other soaps. I would describe the feel as more viscous than other soaps. The lather feels almost creamy? Thankfully no added artificial fragrance which will be pleasant to anyone sensitive to scents. I took a good sniff and it kinda smells like wood but when you apply it there's not a noticeable scent. The results from this soap are excellent. I have seen a noticeable steady reduction in skin redness after a few weeks. My skin feels soft and moist after consistent use. Importantly, this soap is also great as it does not make my skin oily! The bar is on the small size and is a bit pricey but I think the effectiveness makes it worthwhile if you're looking for skin relief. Read more

Having already experienced a related product by this brand, I was happy to encounter the same skin cleanliness as the previous one, which left my skin feeling soft enough, smelling nice, and it thankfully also continue to do a good job with a case of folliculitis that I have been persistently dealing with which was the same level of effectiveness as the other one even if this one had only 1% formula whereas the other had 2%. Like the other one, it was best to lather up (and this does a pretty good job at forming a nice foam with minimal effort, though it's not as overwhelming as other brand names have been) and let it sit there for a little while as the box recommends before washing it off. If you plan to use this as a regular bar soap where you apply it and instantly rinse it off in the shower, you're going to use up this relatively small bar in a very quick amount of time, thereby reducing the value it might have in the longer run. I would strongly suggest that to get the best value for the money, especially at a rather high price point, just use it as it says since this is a medicated soap. That automatically makes it a different caliber in my eyes, and therefore handled and treated differently. So, used as instructed, this is a fantastic product and I'm happy to continue using stuff by this brand! Very highly recommended. (Note that I am removing one star not because it did anything wrong, but because I really can't tell the difference of the emu oil ingredient having been added as compared to the other which did not have it. It seems to be all the same to me. Maybe others with different kinds of skin would have a different experience, but I would still recommend it all the same.) Read more

I’m testing out a few of these Noble Formula soaps and so far this one has been my favorite. This one contains Emu oil so I was excited to try it. I instantly felt my typically flaky skin become softer and even a bit smoother. It gave me the “squeaky clean” feel that you get from good soaps. What I love the most is it doesn’t have a fragrance to it and it’s coconut free which is RARE to find. It’s a small bar so I would highly recommend placing it in a dry place as soon as you’re done and not leaving it in water or super moist environments. You only need to rub the bar against your skin or whatever you wash with for a few seconds before experiencing a good lather. Overall, I’m loving this testing period. I did notice a few small bumps popping up on the outside of my face but this is normal for me when using new products so I won’t take off points for this. Instead of using this daily, I may only use it a few times a week. Overall, I like this soap! Read more
