Oh, how I wish that I would have had this soap back when I was much younger and had oily and problematic skin. It's so safe and gentle on more sensitive skin, yet it cleans really well. Does so without drying out the skin which can cause even more problems for those who suffer from acne and other such conditions. You wouldn't think so, but it does. It won't leave you with much in the way of extra moisturization. It's just safe and gentle enough to be sure that it doesn't strip away your essential oils needed for a healthy complexion. Now that I'm older, I have mature combination skin. Though I need to be sure to add some moisturization within my daily skincare regimen, I still need to be careful not to go overboard on some days with too much. Also, I can still breakout if not careful. This is a very good soap for my needs during my more problematic times. It's a hard and solid bar of soap that lathers up quite easily without getting mushy. Just be sure to air dry between uses. Fine for all skin types, though you'll still need to follow up with your regular skincare regimen. This is especially safe and good at stripping away excess sebum, dead skin cells, makeup and other debris. Great at balancing the skin and fighting various bacteria and germs that might have found its way onto your skin. Excellent for teens and suitable for both men and women alike. I'm very happy to have found this soap as it is quite good. Made in the USA. Read more
This Noble Formula 2% Pyrithione Zinc Soap comes in a smaller than average very square shaped bar. I think it's a bit awkward to hold, and feels more like a bar for a guest bathroom than a normal bath bar. The listing says it's handcrafted. I'm not sure if that means it's handmade, but it does look like handmade oatmeal soap I've used in the past. When I used it though, it won me over. It doesn't lather much, actually hardly at all, but it felt soft and somewhat silky in my hand and I liked it quite a bit. It also seems to be unscented which, frankly, is a relief. I don't like strong fragrances and I can get overwhelmed by all the fragrances in soaps, shampoos, conditioners and laundry detergents. Having a soap that doesn't add to that traffic is nice. The ingredient list for the soap looks good and in addition to several oils contains 2% Pyrithione Zinc which apparently is added to help cleanse away excess oil, flakes, and surface buildup. It sounds like what a clarifying shampoo does for the skin. I'm not sure I would be able to tell if it was doing that or even that I need it, but I do like the soap regardless. Read more

Another soap by this brand with pyrithione zinc formula. I used this on a different patch of folliculitis on one of my legs that I had done with the charcoal soap with the same formula by the brand. Over a couple of evenings of usage, I will say that I'm happy with the effects so far upon the irritation and getting it to clear up, but I do notice the difference without the charcoal. The additional ingredients also help it smell nice and balance out the dryness which the formula can sometimes cause to skin. Overall, it's effective at getting the area clean and, at least on me, helping solve a skin issue without the need for heavier medication or a pill. As I had said with the other formula by the brand, the instructions need to be followed as stated on the packaging. If you take this into the shower with you, and already small bar is going to get unnecessarily smaller. Lather the soap first and let it sit on the skin as directed, then wash it off. It'll be much more effective that way because it gives the medicine time to sink in and do what it's supposed to do. Otherwise, you're washing it off right away and wasting an otherwise expensive soap; as such, it wouldn't justify the higher price point if you're going to treat it like a regular soap. I would definitely recommend this as a good way to go for something like what I deal with. Read more

This is a review for 2% Pyrithione Zinc Soap Bar by Noble Formula, ASIN B0GJDZ71B9 This is one of my favorite soaps and I've only used it a couple of times. Even on the first try, I loved the soap. It removed the oils from my skin without giving me that harsh stripped feeling. It was very gentle. My skin feels so clean and moisturized without feeling oily or irritated. The thing I didn't really like about the soap was the smell. It's a little strange at first, kind of like oatmeal, maybe, but with something else. Maybe that was the zinc. I don't know what zinc smells like. Even with that, it wasn't bad. This soap lathers very well at first, but it seems to deflate very quickly. So if you're using it with a washcloth or puff, it'll bubble up great, but just disappear. It's almost as if the soap is just gone, which was kind of odd. Overall, though, I enjoy using this soap. I think it's a pretty good value for the money. Read more
I have seborrheic dermatitis, so when I saw this 2% Pyrithione Zinc bar soap I ordered it. Pyrithione Zinc is a pretty potent antifungal and antimicrobial, so it is one of the recommended ingredients recommended for SD. It's also good for a bunch of other different conditions like eczema, psoriasis, tinea versicolor, etc. It is also just a good soap to use even if you don't have any of these conditions. This soap is vegan and contains sunflower oil, shea butter, castor oil, chamomile, and oatmeal. The bar itself is smaller than I expected, it fits in the palm of my hand. However, it is much thicker than other bar soaps, so it all pretty much evens out. There is no noticeable fragrance, which is good especially if you are sensitive to that sort of thing. I used it in the shower and it was not only not drying, but actually provided some hydration and relief from my itchy skin. The bar I got is good until 2/12/2028, so you get ample time to use this up. The current price is $12.99, which is a pretty good value for a medicated soap made of good quality ingredients like this one. Read more
