Great feel & I gave them a true road test as we had no power, here in VT. for 2+1/2 days. It was 45 degrees in my home.I bought these socks cause last year we lost power & it was 34 in my home,my left foot in partially frostbitten wearing wool socks ,now I bought these JUST IN TIME!! Amazing socks.I had to wear for 2 days straight & was comfortable!!! I know it sounds impossible but it's true.Plus I wanted to check them out & I just was airing them out & we lost power at 3am.I got up grabbed the best socks I have & it was these alpaca socks,AGAIN,they were fine.The power came on in a couple of hours so it only reached 55 in the house. I'd bought a pair of the Warrior Alpaca socks and liked them a lot, so after reading the reviews for these thought I'd give them a shot since they are $8 cheaper per pair. They are about 1/2 the thickness of the other brand I mentioned and I can already tell they are not as warm if that's your main buying criteria. Read more
