Now, unless you are a gorilla or tree that needs to use this every day and need to keep it constantly charged... You probably use this device infrequently. You need a device that holds a battery charge for the next time you use it. This device DOES NOT hold a charge. I use trimming about once a month to handle my... disheveled look on my nose and ears. Every time I started using it, no power. Battery's dead. This is after I've charged it to FULL, then run it for less than 3 minutes to trim. There should be some life left... But next time I use it, 0%, no response. Owait, gotta wait 5 minutes... Then I can get at least 30 seconds of use before it dies again. Not particularly useful. You want a device that, when charged, holds a battery life for uses over the next 3-6 months if used infrequently. This was not what I found on this device. I'm getting it recycled and looking for something else. Read more

Can't find replacement heads. Even the ones that claim universal fit don't fit this. I didn't try, but it's clear to see that they are very different where they should couple. This is especially unfortunate because the one that came with the unit didn't last two weeks, with very little use and cleaning with the little brush. The motor spins with the head removed, but attach it and it just sort of chugs and stutters. Some day, maybe after I'm long gone, some company will make one that really works well. I check every few years to see if there's anything new for trimming the nose hair. I've probably bought 5 different nose hair trimmers over the last 15 or 20 years. They all snag, and yeah that really smarts, or they just don't spin well after a while even with a new battery. Great that it's rechargeable, especially usb-c. This is the first one I've had that might have lasted long enough to need a new head. Maybe I'm the first person to get one that lasts long enough to need a new head. UPDATE AUG 14, 2025: This review now reflects new facts because my own experience tells me that trying this product is not necessarily a bad risk for other potential buyers. Customer service has proven to be sincere. Trust me that this review is only for my experience with this specific product, and does not grade the product or seller beyond that focus. I am watching to see if they offer for sale, a new version of this product in the next few weeks or months. I might buy it, and if I like it I will add helpful info about it right below this. I picked up the HACLI Nose Hair Trimmer hoping for a quick and efficient grooming tool, but it’s been more of a slow grind than a smooth trim. While it does eventually get the job done, the blades just aren’t as sharp or powerful as I expected. It takes longer than it should to get a clean result, and I often find myself going over the same spot multiple times. It’s not a total loss — it’s lightweight, easy to use, and doesn’t cause any discomfort. But if you’re looking for speed and precision, this isn’t quite it. I’ll be shopping around for a trimmer with higher-quality blades next time. Decent in a pinch, but not the long-term solution I was hoping for. Read more

Its quiet and holds a charge for a long time. But it is the worst ever for actually cutting nose hair. I threw it away Read more

Terrible product. Does not always turn on even when I properly go through the ridiculous (and unnecessary and un-user-friendly) sequence of hitting the "on" button three times, pausing, then hitting it again. When it does turn on? The blades are either to far from the ports or they are dull or both. I have to stick the thing in my nose over and over and over and it barely cuts the hair. DO NOT BUY. Motor stopped turning blades after a using it a couple of times. Tried cleaning the trimmer several times but did not help. Motor seems under powered and not strong enough to turn the blades. Tried reaching out to the manufacturer but no response. Read more

Had been using a Panasonic for a few years that has worked very well but it was loud since new especially annoying when trimming ears. Was looking for something quieter. Read the reviews and some mentioned this one was quiet relative to others they have tried. And it is... probably the quietest trimmer I've ever used. But it's just not trimming as well as Panasonic - It doesn't cut as close and it takes longer because it's not as easy to get the hairs into the slots they need to go to get trimmed. Those slots do look narrower on this one. I'm going to keep it for a back up but I'll still choose the trusty Panasonic even though it's much louder. Read more
