Being new to straight razor shaving, I didnt want to spend an arm and a leg on a razor. However, now that I have it, I am in love and will be buying a proper one soon. If you are new, grab this - the blade holder is secured, and you can get 100 razors for literally a fraction of the cost of a pack of safety razors. And honestly, unless you are a sasquatch, you can get a full shave with 1 razor, maybe 2 if you have a thick beard or havent shaved in a while. Read more
As someone who's been going to the barber for years to achieve that clean and straight-edged beard, I was reluctant to purchase a straight edge razor, because I had used a conventional 3-5 blade razor for as long as I could remember. But between going to the barber, my facial hair would start growing back as usual. And we all know it's hard to judge where the top most blade of a razor is when it's covered by a skin guard, so it's easy to mess up your line and have to reshave to match it back up. Recently I decided I was going to just learn how to use a straight edge razor and after about two hours of looking around on the internet, I settled for this one. Not only did it arrive a day earlier than scheduled but I couldn't be more pleased with how easy this is to use. You slide the blade in, and you hold it at about a 15 to 20 degree angle off of the skin...and you shave. It's very comfortable in your hand, and the curve of the handle really makes it easy to hold and maneuver around to get into those tight areas around the inside of my jaw line. I was so satisfied with this product and I honestly can't wait for my hair to grow back so I can do it again. Read more
One of the little tabs that holds the half blade was not punched out so I had to work on the holder a bit. It is a bit difficult to load and I can see how one might cut themselves. Once loaded the razor performed well. Decent construction. Made in India. Read more

Great razor for the price. It's a nice beginner safety razor. Good idea if you want to try a straight razor before investing a ton in a nice one. Read more
Handle feels cheap and flimsy. Machining is a tad off. Steel is light. Slide mechanism is tough on the fingers and not comfy. Leaves waaaaaay too much blade exposed. My other Parker Razor is my favorite. Not sure what happened to this one Read more
This push type razor is not as safe and secure as the pin type with top lock latch. It shaved fairly well so far. I like the color of the ivory handle as it has a vintage barber shop look but for goodness sakes, can't this company invest one more dollar to make a durable quality plastic handle? Increase the selling price by five more dollars and you'd probably sell a billion of these AND your customers would buy one in every finish......just because its built well for the money. The fault lies with us, the purchasers. We could demand a better shaver but we accept what they make. We could control the price of milk if everyone stopped buying it for a month........but you know human nature. Read more
