I don't know how it works but it does. I just finished eating up the last of the peach ice cream we made last month it was good. I plugged it in and tried to figure out how it makes ice cream because the paddle wasn't turning or I'm missing something in about 45 to an hr the unit stops and I take the center out and put it in the freezer after my wife gets her bowl full she likes it soft. Old maker had a steel cylinder which had rusted in basement storage, motor shot. This new version is best! Non rusting cylinder. Tasty vanilla so far, looking to puree peaches just in for a great peach ice cream! Great product! Read more
